‘Survivor’ April 29, 2020 Voted Off Kim Spradlin-Wolfe (Recap)

Hey, “Survivor” fans. Tonight, April 29, 2020, another new episode of “Survivor season 40: Winners At War” did indeed air, and let me tell you there was definitely another war that took place in this episode.

It kicked off with Sarah complaining about Tony’s move to get out Sophie at the last tribal council behind her back. Sarah told Tony, “You just sunk my game! Those guys don’t trust me!” Tony said, “I swear on my family I didn’t want to blindside you.” Sarah said, “If this sinks my game, do not ever talk to me again.” She was super pissed off.

Tony was seen telling Ben, “I have an idol.” Ben told the private cams, “I don’t know if I trust Tony because he’s blindsided me hugely. I still want Jeremy out next. He’s a jury threat. I’m not talking to Jeremy.”

Tony told the private cams, “I think I’m in trouble.” So, he went back to spying on everyone. Sarah saw him doing all this madness, and she told the private cams of Tony, “If we were in the real world, one of us would be fired. If he doesn’t chill out, he’s gonna get himself voted out.”

Kim told the private cams, “Hell no. I’m not getting Jeremy out. Tony has to go.” So, Kim started campaigning for Tony to go. She said, “I have to do this or go out trying.” Michele and Nick agreed with Kim about getting Tony out at this particular point in time.

Next, they showed more “Edge Of Extinction” footage. The castoffs were given a new challenge to acquire 2 fire tokens. In this challenge, they had to collect 20 coconuts ,one by one, and stack them at their shelter. The first 6 people to finish the task, won 2 fire tokens. The rest were losers.

When it was all said and done, Natalie and Sophie beat out everyone. Natalie finished first though. Yul got 3rd place. Parvati, Tyson and Wendell were the other three that got fire tokens.

Wendell finished in 6th place by just edging out Danni. Poor Boston Rob slipped and cracked his elbow on the rocks during this challenge. So, he was done.

Back in the main game,Jeremy was seen saying of Ben, “I can’t believe Ben doesn’t even want to talk to me now.” Kim, Nick and Denise were seen making plans to get rid of Jeremy, Sarah and Tony next.

Sarah went searching for a hidden immunity idol. In fact, everyone went searching for it. Ben ended up finding it. He tried to hide it from Tony, but Tony was standing right behind him, and he called him out on it.

Ben said, “I’m sorry, but you just blindsided me at tribal council 4 hours ago.” Tony said,”But that’s over now. You gotta trust me.” Ben told the private cams, “I barely trust Tony.”

Next, host Jeff Probst showed up with the new immunity challenge. He explained that there would be two winners for this one. One for the guys, and one for the women. The winners also won 2 fire tokens to go along with immunity.

This immunity challenge was pretty straight forward. They had to stand on a very narrow perch with one of their arms held above their head and tethered to an apparatus. The last woman and man standing, won.

At one point during this challenge, Jeff tempted them to come down with offers of delicious food. Kim and Michele immediately took the food.

Then Tony told Nick he would give him a fire token if he dropped. Nick accepted it and took the food. So, Tony won for the guys, and Denise won for the women. That means Denise and Tony could not be voted out at this tribal council.

Tony was laughing afterwards about how he won three, consecutive immunity challenges. He said of Nick, “One fire token for an immunity necklace. That’s a bargain.”

Kim told the private cams, “Tony is totally driving me crazy in this game with all his wins.” After that, plans were made to vote off Jeremy.

Ben told Tony Kim was making plans to blindside him earlier, and this was the turning point because Tony took heavy offense to Kim trying to get him out.

Tony tried to ask Nick about Kim’s plan to get him out. Nick tried to act like he didn’t know anything about it, and Tony could tell Nick was lying to his face.

Tony ran to Sarah to tell her, “We might have to work with Jeremy now because Kim and the others were making plans to blindside us.” Sarah said, “We need to still vote out Jeremy so we can preserve Ben as a number.” Tony didn’t like that idea. So, Sarah said, “You need to go talk to Ben then.”

Tony tried to sell the idea to Ben, “Kim and the others are coming after us if we get rid of Jeremy.” Ben said, “I don’t think that’s going to happen.”

Michele was seen talking to Jeremy about giving him her an advantage. Tony told Jeremy, “Kim’s gotta go.” Jeremy went to talk to Ben about working together. Jeremy told Ben, “I don’t wanna butt heads anymore.” Jeremy wasn’t really feeling his conversation with Ben. So, Michele gave Jeremy her advantage. She told him to play it.

At the tribal council meeting, people started whispering again. This time, Jeremy, Tony and Ben kicked off the whispering festivities. Then Kim got up and started whispering to Jeremy. Sarah got up and whispered to Tony.

Denise said, “Everyone is totally paranoid, and it’s driving us nuts.” Eventually, everyone just got up and started whispering to each other. It was crazy.

Finally, Denise just said, “I’m done. I’m ready to vote.” Jeremy said to Denise, “You’re sure you wanna do that? You’re only safe for tonight?” Denise said, “Yes, I got it.” After that, they finally voted.

Before Jeff read off the votes, Tony said, “I’m gonna go ahead and play my idol for Sarah.” However, Sarah said, “Don’t do it.” So, Tony didn’t play it.

Right after that, Jeremy said he was going to play his advantage that Michele gave him. Then he immediately decided not to.

At this point,Jeff finally read off the votes, and here’s what happened. Jeremy got 3 votes, and Kim received a whopping 5 votes. So, Kim was definitely blindsided. It appears that Tony got what he wanted yet again. If you go after Tony, you better make sure he doesn’t find out about it.

Kim gave her 3 fire tokes to Denise, Sarah and Michele before heading off to “Edge Of Extinction.” In her exit statement, Kim told the private cams, “I’m not sorry for trying to gather all the troops to get out Tony. It was the right move, and the game’s not over.”
