New ‘The Rookie’ Spoilers For Season 2, May 10, 2020 Finale Episode 20 Revealed
Hey, “The Rookie” fans. We are back at you for one last spoiler session to cap off this current season 2. Yep, that’s right, guys. Next week’s brand new episode 20 will indeed be the finale episode that wraps up season 2.
I must remind you that episode 20 is the second part of a two-part episode, picking up from episode 19. We were able to get the main storyline description for episode 20 from the wonderful ABC folks via their episode 20 press release. So, with no further ado, we’re going to run it by you right now.
To start, episode 20 is officially titled, “The Hunt.” It sounds like episode 20 will feature some very interesting, intense, dramatic, dangerous, possible suspenseful and action-filled scenes.
In the new episode 20, we’re going to find out that there is much, much more to Nolan’s discovery than we ever could have ever imagined. Unfortunately, for Nolan, these extra details could cause him to lose both his friggin life and career! Oh, no!
ABC’s official description for episode 20 tells us, “In part two of the season finale, Nolan’s discovery goes much deeper than he expected and could put his life and career in jeopardy.”
An alternate description reads like this, “OFFICER NOLAN IS CLOSE TO DISCOVERING THE TRUTH ON PART TWO OF THE SEASON FINALE OF ABC’S ‘THE ROOKIE.”
Will Nolan be able to avoid possibly losing his life and career during this latest debacle? Those are the $million dollar questions for this particular storyline.
Whatever the case,there’s no doubts in our minds this plotline will deliver up a plethora of drama, action, suspense and intrigue for you guys when next Sunday night finally gets here. So, get ready for it.
Unfortunately, we can’t currently confirm if The Rookie has been renewed for a brand new season 3 or not because ABC has yet to make that announcement.
However, the folks over at thedigitalwise.com are saying it has been renewed for season 3. So, maybe they have some inside intel we don’t have access to.
What we do have access to is the LIVE ratings and viewership numbers for season 2. It averaged 4.265 million LIVE viewers per episode, and a 0.64 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics.
The last episode 18 brought in 4.959 million LIVE viewers and a 0.70 ratings score. From the outside looking in, those numbers seem ok to us. But, of course,they will have to look good to ABC for it to get renewed if it hasn’t already been renewed.
Again, everyone else except the folks over at thedigitalwise.com is reporting that ABC hasn’t renewed it yet. So, we don’t know which story is true at this point. We’ll have to wait for an official announcement from ABC to know if The Rookie is really renewed for season 3.
ABC also released a couple of new preview photos for episode 20. Nolan is seen in a couple of the pics, and his scenes look very intense. He looks like he’s about to do some harm to someone with a bat if they come popping up.
Nyla is spotted in some scenes with Nolan. Tim is looking quite happy as he plants a kiss on a pretty lady in his photo set. You guys can view all of the new preview photos for episode 20 over on Spoiler TV’s site by Clicking Here.
Episode 20 will feature a couple of guest stars. They are: Harold Perrineau as character Detective Nick Armstrong, Ali Larter as character Dr. Grace Sawyer, Jasmine Mathews as character Rachel Hall, Annie Wersching as character Rosalind Dyer, Hannah Kasulka as character officer Erin Cole, Hrach Titizian as character Ruben Derian and Themo Melikidze as character Serj Derian.
The season regulars that will be featured in episode 20 are: Nathan Fillion as character John Nolan, Mekia Cox as character Nyla Harper, Alyssa Diaz as character Angela Lopez, Richard T. Jones as character Sergeant Wade Grey, Titus Makin Jr. as character Jackson West, Melissa O’Neil as character Lucy Chen and Eric Winter as character Tim Bradford.
Episode 20 was written by Alexi Hawley, and it was directed by Bill Roe. ABC’s press release confirmed that episode 20 is indeed scheduled to air next Sunday night, May 10, 2020 at approximately 9 pm central standard time. Episodes can also be viewed the next day on demand and on Hulu.
