Hey, “America’s Got Talent” fans. Tonight, June 23, 2020,another new episode of America’s Got Talent did indeed air. Tonight, was the 5th round of early auditions.

All the judges: Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, and Sofia Vergara were, of course, on hand. Poor Heidi Klum was out with a strange sickness. So, Sofia’s Modern Family castmate, Eric Stonestreet sat in for Heidi.

Up first for the auditions was 12 year old singer Annie Jones. She’s from Australia, and she starred in productions of School of Rock and Annie.

After her performance, Sofia said, “I thought you were so confident.” Howie said, “You’re a beautiful little dance monkey.” Simon said, “I loved your twist on the song. Your confidence is amazing.”

Annie got a yes from all three judges because Eric Stonestreet wasn’t there yet to judge this one. So, Annie made it through to the next round.

Next up was Ty Barnett. He’s a comedian from Chicago. He was on Star Search in 2003 and Last Comic Standing in 2006. After his performance, he got a yes from all three of the judges.

Shaquira McGrath was up next. She’s a singer. She sang a country song called, “Redneck Woman.” Afterwards, Simon said, “You have a great great voice. This is just the beginning for you.” Shaquira got a yes from all three of the judges.

Next, came a dance group called, “Xtreme Dance Force.” They ranged from ages 4 to 19 years old. They had previously competed on World Of Dance.

After their performance, Sofia said, “You looked amazing.” Howie said, “It was sloppy.” Simon said, “I really like you guys.” Eric said, “I love your ambition.” Howie said no. The rest of the judges said yes. So, they made it through to the next round.

Chef Boy Bonz was up next. He’s a Rapper. During his performance, he literally scared Sofia out of her seat by doing some weird things with eyes where they appeared to pop out of their sockets. It was freaky as hell. Sofia immediately buzzed him.

After the performance, Simon said, “I think there’s a market for you.” Howie somehow liked him too. Eric wasn’t impressed. But in the end, Chef Boy Bonz got a yes from Simon, Howie and Eric after Eric was pressured into giving him a yes.

Sofia obviously gave him a strong no, but 3 yeses were enough for him to move on to the next round.

My favorite contestant so far Winston arrived next. He’s a Magician from Venezuela. He did some very interesting magic with cards. His presentation was excellent. The way it was choreographed was almost as good as the magic itself. Both the judges and the crowd loved it.

Afterwards, Sofia said, “It was incredible.” Howie said, “I loved your dramatic presentation.” Eric said, “You will do well.” Simon said, “I think you were born to do this. You’re a pure showman. I can see you headlining a show in Vegas.” Winston got a yes from all four judges.

Lewis Shilvock was up next. He’s an 18 year old dancer from Australia. During his performance, he did a very lively routine that was filled with a some impressive acrobatics and just overall dance moves. Both the judges and crowd loved him.

Afterwards, Sofia said he was excellent. Howie said, “I think your act is more suited for Broadway than a Vegas show.” Simon said, “I admire your tenacity. You remind me of Billy Elliot.” Eric said, “It’s Broadway, but a lot more.”

Lewis got a yes from Sofia, Eric and Simon. Howie gave him a no. So, with 3 yeses, Lewis made it through to the next round.

Next, the Bone Breakers hit the stage. They’re a contortionists dance group from Conakry, Guinea in West Africa. During their performance, they pulled off insane contortions. They literally turned one guy’s head around to his back! Anyone else would’ve been dead if they did that. It was crazy. The crowd loved them.

Afterwards, Simon said, “Well, I wasn’t expecting that!” Howie said, “It was amazing.” Eric said, “My jaw was on this table.” Sofia said, “It was super entertaining.” The Bone Breakers got a yes from all four judges.

Jesse Kramer arrived on stage next. He’s a Rock singer. He sang a rock version of the song, “Bad Romance” by Lady Gaga.

Afterwards, Simon said,”I really really enjoyed the audition.” Howie said, “I was bored.” Eric said, “I want to hear you sing a rock n roll song.” Jesse got a yes from all four judges.

Serban Cioca hit the stage next. He’s a singer from Romania. He sang an original song during his performance, which really sucked. Everyone started booing him. He easily got a no from all four of the judges.

Josefina Monasterio was up next. She’s a 73 year old bodybuilder from Venezuela. During her performance, she actually tried to sell her posing routine off as a legitimate act. It was insane. Host Terry Crews actually joined her on stage to pose with his shirt off.

Afterwards, Simon said, “Next time, come back with an actual act.” Eric said, “I think you’re great person, but it’s a no for me. ” Sofia said, “I want to be like you when I’m 73.” Josefina got a no from all four of the judges.
