The Bachelorette October 27, 2020 Eliminated Zac J, Yosef, Robby, Garin and Tyler S (Recap)
Hey, Bachelor Nation fans. Tonight, October 27, 2020, another new episode of The Bachelorette 2020 edition with Clare Crawley did indeed air,and man was it crazy.
It started off with the continuation of the crazy cocktail party that last week’s episode ended off with. Yosef was telling the other guys that he saw red flags with Clare after hearing about her having the guys strip at the dodgeball game.
He said, “That’s just raunchy humor and completely unacceptable. It’s classless and tasteless. That’s just something I would never do. That’s my personal boundary. I’m looking forward to telling Clare exactly how I feel and wash my hands of this atrocity.”
After all of that, we saw the crazy footage of Yosef confronting Clare about how he felt, and it was not nice at all, guys. He totally went off on Clare, sending her into tears! He told her, “Just hear me out. I saw a couple of red flags about you. We are here for you, but you’re here for us too. I sacrificed a lot to be here.”
Clare tried to say, “I understand that” at this point, but Yosef cut her off and said, “But, just let me finish.”
Then he started going off about the dodgeball game nudity saying, “I found it really disrespectful. I really did. I was absolutely appalled about the naked guys playing dodgeball together. It’s so humiliating and degrading.
I don’t see how that has anything to do with you finding a husband. I was so appalled. It was a completely classless display. I expected a lot more from the oldest Bachelorette. I’m ashamed to be associated with you.
I also think you really overreacted during our group date afterparty.” (He was referring to when Clare got really upset when none of the guys stepped up and talked to her right away.)
At this point, Clare was fed up and tried to say something, but Yosef told her to just listen to me and be quiet. That’s when Clare went off.
Clare said, “The way you’re talking to me, right now. Never in a million years did I think I would ever have to utter these words again. Do not ever talk to me that way again. Get out of here!
Yosef wouldn’t leave. He kept walking behind her yelling, “You’re not fit to be a mother to my child! You’re completely classless, Clare! I expected more from the oldest Bachelorette! Remember, you’re almost 40!”
Clare, again, yelled at Yosef to get out of here! Some of the other guys ran out to to tell Yosef to leave. Then Yosef said, “She’s all yours, boys!” After that, he finally left.
Dale ran up to comfort Clare. She was in tears saying, “I didn’t even do anything to that man. Sick, sick! I’m the oldest Bachelorette because I didn’t settle for men like that!”
Dale gave Clare a hug, and she cried in his arms. Dale said, “You don’t deserve that. If that’s how he feels. It is what it is. Let it go.”
Clare said to the private cams, “Having someone like Dale who would come over and protect me. Dale is everything that I’m looking for. Everything that I want. It’s not even the second rose ceremony, and I’m so falling in love with Dale.” Clare told host Chris Harrison, “I can’t help it. Dale is so amazing.”
Next, they showed us footage of Clare telling the guys at the cocktail party, “I can’t go on with the rest of the night. I’m just going to go ahead and do the rose ceremony.” The other guys were, of course, upset.
At the rose ceremony, everyone got a rose except for Robby, Garin and Tyler S. So, they joined crazy Yosef in exiting the show in this episode.
Next, Chris Harrison showed up with the date card. It revealed that Jason, Jay, Eazy, Chasen Blake, Ed, Riley and Dale were going on a group date with Clare.
From there, they showed former Bachelorette DeAnna Pappas pay Clare a visit. During their talk, they discussed the guys. Of course, Clare went on and on about Dale.
She said, “He makes everyone else disappear. He checks all the boxes.” Clare Told DeAnna about Dale coming to support her after Yosef ripped her apart verbally. “It was so nice,” she said. “This might be the shortest season ever.”
Next, Clare showed up at the house to tell her group date guys that she’s canceling the daytime portion of the date, but the afterparty is still on. Some of the guys expressed that they were upset about it to the private cams.
At the group date afterparty, Dale snatched up Clare first for a 1 on 1 talk. He told Clare, “I’ve seen women in my life take abuse, and I’m proud of the way you carried yourself after Yosef said those things to you.”
Clare said, “Why are you so perfect?” Dale said, “I’m not.” Clare said, “You are.” Then they kissed. Clare told Dale, “I’m so happy you’re here.”
Next, it was revealed that Dale really spent a ton of time with Clare in this moment. One of the guys said they were gone for like an hour!
They started saying, “Should we send a search party out for Dale?” Finally, Eazy went and knocked on their door to break up Clare and Dale’s make out session.
When Dale came back, the other guys were looking at him like they were extremely ticked off. They were really upset that Dale hogged all of Clare’s time from them.
Next, they showed footage of Dale interrupting Zac C and Clare’s 1 on 1 conversation. In that moment, Dale tried to apologize saying, “I didn’t know someone was here.”
Clare said, “That’s ok. You wanna come on over?” Dale said, “Yeah.” From there, Clare totally pushed poor Zac C out of the picture so she could make out with Dale some more!
Zac C left and told the other guys what happened with Dale. They were, of course, shocked since Dale had already spent a whole hour or so with Clare.
Finally, Chasen went to break up Dale and Clare’s second make out session. When the other guys tried to ask Dale what happened, he tried to lie to them about what he was doing. They knew it,and they got really upset about it. They told Dale, “Just own up to what you were doing.”
The other guys revealed that they’re starting to notice Clare has her eyes soley on Dale, and they thought it was disrespectful. “What are we here for,” they said. Then Clare came back around to give Dale the group date rose, which further upset the rest of the guys.
Eazy said, “I feel like we’re kind of cast to the side for no reason.” Dale started rubbing the rest of the guys the wrong way by saying, “I felt like I was the best guy suited to be with Clare. I’m happy I got the rose. I really put my heart and sole into the conversation that we had.”
Next, Zac J and Clare went on a 1 on 1 date. However, before they went, Clare told the private cams of Dale, “I was ready to game on with Dale in the bed last night.”
Clare end up taking Zac J on spa date. They got pedicures and all that jazz. Clare told the private cams, “Zac J seemed too nervous to me, and it stresses me out. It’s times like this that I wish Dale was here. I just wish I could see Dale.”
Meanwhile, the guys back the house kept complaining about how Clare is giving Dale most of her time. They started contemplating if Clare and Dale possibly knew each other before the show.
Back on Clare and Zac J’s 1 on 1 date, there was a moment when they were about to kiss. Either Clare or Zac pulled away. Whatever the case, there was a pullback from the kiss.
Zac confronted Clare about it saying, “Why did you pull away?” Clare kept saying there was no reason. Let’s just get ready for our dinner. Zac wouldn’t let it go and kept trying to kiss her, but she would not kiss him.
Afterwards, Clare told the private cams, “Zac J’s aggressiveness sort of triggered me and made me feel uncomfortable. If I want to walk away, just let me walk away.”
At the dinner date, Chris Harrison showed up to tell told Zac J, “Clare’s not coming to dinner.” Zac started talking about that kiss saying, “There was a mix up. She thought I was pulling away, and I absolutely was not.”
Chis said, “This means you’ll be going home.” So, Zac J became another casualty of this crazy Clare Crawley season.
At this point, the second group date was up next. It featured comedian Margaret Cho coaching the guys on how to roast somebody.
The audience for their roast turned out to be the rest of the guys from the house including Dale. The other guys complained to the private cams about that. They said, “I will be really looking forward to dishing it out to Dale. He’s going to get torn a new one,” they said.
During the roast, all of the guys started taking a lot of shots at Dale. Clare noticed and told the private cams she didn’t like it.
Bennett really went in hard on Dale with multiple jokes. Clare said Bennett had three chapters of insults for Dale. Bennett called Dale out on calling himself the best suited for Clare at one point. Afterwards, the other guys expressed that they loved the Dale roasting with very loud hand claps.
Clare thought is was a bit much. Margaret Cho agreed with Clare that Bennett’s jokes were hostile towards Dale. Clare told the private cams, “I have feelings for Dale. It is what it is. You can’t hate on love.”
Dale told Eazy, “I deserved the roast. I’ll own it.” Eazy said, “We just want you to understand where everyone else is coming from.” Dale said, “Yeah, I’ll own it.” They seemed to have a good understanding about it.
During the afterparty, Clare used all of her 1 on 1 time with the guys to ask them why they roasted Dale so hard instead of trying to talk about their individual relationships with her.
They definitely noticed it and traded notes. Kenny said, “If Clare is only into Dale, we’re just wasting our time. I don’t think it’s fair if she’s not really giving anyone else a chance. Who else has she shown that kind of interest in? I can’t think of anybody.”
Finally, Clare told them, “I actually didn’t get what I needed from you guys. So, I’m not giving anyone a group date rose, and I’ll see you at the rose ceremony tomorrow night.”
Demar said, “I really wish someone would have gotten a rose then having this feeling.” Clare told the private cams, “The other guys making fun of me and Dale’s relationship is not ok.”
The other guys all agreed that Clare totally has tunnel vision for Dale. Kenny said, “If she really wants Dale, we can all just leave.”
Tonight’s episode ended on that note. It will certainly be continued next week. They gave a little tease, which revealed that Tayshia Adams from Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor will be replacing Clare.
So, I think next week’s episode will be the last episode for Clare. It’s gonna be crazy, guys. You don’t wanna miss it.
Next week’s new episode of The Bachelorette is scheduled to air on Thursday night, November 5, 2020 at approximately 7 pm central standard time on ABC. They’re skipping next Tuesday night due to ABC presenting LIVE coverage of the Presidential Election results.
