Chicago PD Season 8, January 20, 2021 Episode 4 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight

Hey, “Chicago P.D.” fans. We are back at you with another report. Unfortunately, we’re quite sure you’re not going to like this one. For some reason, NBC has elected not to air the next, new episode 4 of Chicago PD’s current season 8 tonight, January 20, 2021. That’s right, guys. It’s sadly true.

To get your spirits up, we can officially tell you that this delay is just for this week. NBC has confirmed that episode 4 is currently scheduled to arrive next Wednesday night, January 27, 2021 in its usual 9 pm central standard time slot. So, please be sure to commit that very important date and time to your memory banks or jot it down on something.

We took the liberty of finding out what NBC is airing instead of the next, new episode 4 of Chicago PD’s current season 8 tonight. According to the TV Guide listings, NBC will be airing a repeat episode of Chicago PD. It will be the 20th episode of last season 7 titled, “Silence of the Night.”

NBC’s official description for it reads like this,”Atwater goes under cover to take down a gun trafficking ring but discovers an officer from his past is under cover in the same organization.”


If any of you guys are interested in watching this particular repeat episode of Chicago PD, you might still want to flip on NBC ,tonight, to catch it.

If you definitely know without a shadow of a doubt that you have absolutely no desire to check out this repeat episode of Chicago PD, you will certainly want to get some alternate plans together as soon as possible.

With that said, we do have some new info to share with you for the next, new episode 4 of Chicago PD’s current season 8. We were able to dig up an official episode 4 press release that NBC put out. So, we’re going to go over it real quick.

Before we do, we need to warn you that it does contain light spoiler teasers. So, if reading spoilers aren’t your thing, you will certainly want to exit this article right now.

If you love reading spoilers, we definitely advise you to stick around. Now that our spoiler warning is out there, let’s dive into this episode 4 press release.

First thing’s first. Episode 4 has been given an official title. It’s called,”UNFORGIVEN.” It sounds like episode 4 will feature some very intense, interesting, dramatic and possible action-filled scenes.

In the new episode 4, a cop will end up getting viciously murdered! This terrible event will, of course, cause the Chicago PD team to jump into action with an intense investigation. The first round of suspicions will be directed at someone who had a major grudge on that particular cop.

The department superintendent Samantha Miller will be quite hesitant to defend this person until she can get more details on how the whole story played out.

NBC’s official description for episode 4 reads like this, “A cop is murdered and suspicion falls on someone who has been holding a grudge against the officer. Intelligence works hard to solve the case but Dep. Supt. Samantha Miller is hesitant to defend him until she knows the whole story.”

Again, NBC confirmed that the next, new episode 4 of Chicago PD’s current season 8 is scheduled to hit the airwaves next Wednesday night, January 27,2021 at approximately 9 pm central standard time.
