Chicago Fire Season 9, March 24, 2021 Episode 10 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight

Hey, “Chicago Fire” fans. We are back in action with a new Chicago Fire article for you guys. Unfortunately, it’s not going to be a very positive one. It turns out that for some unknown reason, NBC will not be airing the next, new episode 10 of Chicago fire’s current season 9 tonight, March 24, 2021

On a bit of a brighter note, we can confirm that this particular delay is just isolated to this week. NBC has confirmed that they have scheduled the new episode 10 to air next Wednesday night, March 31, 2021 in its usual, 8 pm central standard time slot. So, definitely make sure you don’t forget that very important date and time.

So, what in the heck is NBC going to replace the next, new episode 10 of Chicago Fire’s current season 9 with tonight? Well, according to the TV guide listings, NBC will actually air an episode of Chicago Fire. However, it won’t be a new one. It will be a bloody rerun. This rerun will be the 5th episode of this season 9 titled, “MY LUCKY DAY.”

NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “When Firehouse 51 is called to the scene of a dangerous blaze inside a 10-story storage unit, Herrmann and Cruz find themselves trapped inside a freight elevator with all communications cut off.”

If any of you guys missed episode 5 when it first aired, or if you just want to watch it again, tonight is your lucky night to catch it.

If you want nothing but the next, new episode 10 of Chicago Fire season 9, you will definitely want to mark NBC off of your list for tonight.

To start, NBC did provide us an official title for this new episode 10. It’s called, “ONE CRAZY SHIFT.” It sounds like episode will feature some very intense, dramatic, action-filled, possible emotional and interesting scenes.

In the new episode 10, the 51 crew will be extremely busy due to the fact that a number of fires will indeed break out. What’s really interesting is that the cause of them will be unknown. So, the 51 crew will go on a mad search to figure out what the friggin cause is.

Casey will also have some spotlight in this episode, but it won’t be good times for him as he will be seen getting into trouble at some point.

Last, but not least, Mouch will be up to something very significant-sounding as he will attempt to make his life-long dream a reality!

NBC’s official description for episode 10 reads like this, “A series of suspicious fires sends 51 on a search for the cause. Casey continues down a troubling path. Mouch is looking to make his long-awaited dream come true.”

Again, NBC confirmed that the next, new episode 10 of Chicago Fire’s current season 9 is scheduled to finally air next Wednesday night, March 31, 2021 at approximately 8 pm central standard time.
