Big Brother September 9, 2021 Evicted Claire Rehfuss & Alyssa Lopez (Recap)
Hey, “Big Brother” fans. Tonight, September 10, 2021, the dreaded, LIVE Double Eviction episode for Big Brother season 23 did indeed happen, and another two, unlucky houseguests were sent packing when it was all said and done.
Tonight’s LIVE, Double eviction episode kicked off with footage of what happened in the house after the last POV ceremony, which featured Alyssa taking herself off the chopping block with the veto, and Tiffany replacing her with poor Claire.
Alyssa ,not knowing about the Cookout alliance, told the Diary Room aka the private cams, “I feel confident enough to know we can pull all the votes for Xavier to stay.” Tiffany told the private cams, “Putting up Claire was one of the most difficult things I had to do, but I’m on a mission.”
Derek F told Xavier, he wants to get rid of Tiffany first in the Cookout alliance. Poor Alyssa ,again, not knowing about the Cookout alliance was going around saying the final 7 will be minorities. All the Cookout members had to act surprised.
At one point, Alyssa told Derek F and Azah, “Technically, I’m half white. So, am I next to go?” Derek F and Azah laughed it off in front of Alyssa, but they told the private cams, “Yes, Alyssa. You are next to go.”
After that footage, the producers threw in some footage of the houseguests talking about some hypothetical scenarios for a possible double eviction as they did not know, for sure, if there would be one.
After all of that, host Julie Chen-Moonves told the remaining houseguests that they are indeed doing a Double Eviction tonight.
From there, the eviction nominees Xavier and Claire gave their plea speeches. Then, the other houseguests minus the current HOH Tiffany casts their votes to evict. Alyssa, Derek F, Azah and Kyland all voted to evict Claire. Hannah voted to evict Xavier. So, by another landslide vote of 4-1, Claire was evicted from the Big Brother season 23 house tonight in the first eviction.
Claire gave a brief exit interview with Julie Chen-Moonves. Julie asked Claire how she felt about Tiffany putting her on the block after being her close ally in the game. Claire said, “I get it. A lot of people of color have gotten evicted early in this game in the past. I will never blame Tiffany for doing what she feels is right. I’m sorry it happened at my expense though.”
Claire also mentioned, “I said some things about Xavier in my plea speech because I think Xavier is positioning himself very well in this game, and I wanted to help out Hannah and Tiffany.”
Next, the remaining houseguests played in the new HOH (Head Of Household) competition. It was titled, BB Comics “Crash, Boom ,Pow.” It was a memory quiz competition. Hannah ended up winning it to claim HOH. During the break, Hannah told Alyssa, “I’m putting you and Xavier up, and Xavier is my target.” She did that to make Alyssa feel like she was safe during the veto so maybe she wouldn’t play as hard for it.
Next, Hannah nominated Xavier and Alyssa for eviction. Alyssa was, of course, Hannah’s real target.
After that, the POV (Power Of Veto) competition was played. Everyone accept Kyland competed in the POV comp due to a random draw, which didn’t go Kyland’s way.
This POV comp was titled, “Logo Let’s Go.” The houseguests had to complete a BB Comics logo puzzle. The first one to assemble it and ring a buzzer, won. Xavier ended up winning the POV comp super fast!
Then they went straight into the POV ceremony. Xavier, of course, used the veto to take himself off the block during the POV ceremony. Then, Hannah nominated Kyland to take Xavier’s place next to Alyssa on the chopping block.
Kyland and Alyssa gave their plea speeches. Then, the rest of the houseguests minus HOH Hannah casts their votes to evict.
Azah, Tiffany and Derek F all voted to evict Alyssa. Xavier voted to evict Kyland. So, by a vote of 3-1, Alyssa was evicted from the Big Brother season 23 house tonight during the second eviction.
Alyssa gave her exit interview with host Julie Chen-Moonves. Alyssa said, “I think if it wasn’t gonna be Xavier, it was gonna be me. I felt most betrayed by Hannah. I tried working with her, but I think Claire got in her ear before she left.”
Julie asked Alyssa if she would’ve taken Xavier to the final two. Alyssa said, “I would’ve taken Xavier to the final 3, but not the final 2 because I would lose against him.”
So, just to recap, poor Claire Rehfuss and Alyssa Lopez became the final victims of the Cookout alliance tonight. They are evicted and off to the jury house. How do you guys feel about that? Let us know in the comments section.
We expect the next HOH competition to be played later on tonight. So, we will be jumping back on here with the results of that after it’s completed.
