First thing’s first. CBS revealed that this new episode 5 is officially labeled/titled, “Gaijin.” It sounds like episode 5 will feature some very interesting, intense, dramatic, action-filled and suspenseful scenes as a Japanese sailor gets killed, sparking an investigation. Captain Milius makes a personal request and more.

We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the Japanese sailor situation. Yes, it turns out that some poor, Japanese sailor is going to get his life taken by a vicious killer in this episode.

During the aftermath, the evidence is going to link the case back to the previous murder of the victim’s girlfriend. In response to this, the NCIS: Hawaii squad will hop on the case to track down the real killer before the wrong person gets accused of the crime. Apparently, if this wrong person gets accused, it could cause a diplomatic crisis to occur!

CBS’ official description for this murdered Japanese sailor investigation reads like this, “When a Japanese sailor is killed on American soil and evidence links the case to the previous murder of the victim’s girlfriend back in Japan, NCIS must find the murderer before the wrong person is accused and the case triggers a diplomatic crisis.”
