Dancing With The Stars November 15, 2021 Eliminated Suni, Sasha, Melora & Artem (Recap)
Hey, “Dancing With The Stars” fans. Tonight, November 15, 2021, another LIVE performance/results show for Dancing With The Stars’ current season 30 did indeed air, and another two couples got eliminated since this was a double elimination episode to decide who made it into the finals!
All the judges: Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough were on hand, once again, to deliver their usual scores and critiques.
Cody Rigsby and Cheryl Burke kicked off tonight’s performances with a Salsa routine. Afterwards, Bruno said, “You got the energy and excitement, and you’re much better with your hips. Your armography was better, but there were a couple of mistakes.”
Carrie Ann said, “I could feel you getting into the movements, but your energy drained a little from your feet.” Len said, “It was an action-packed, full-on salsa despite a blunder and being a little flat-footed.” Derek said, “I loved the last leg dip, but it felt a little rushed with some misses in the arm movements.”
Carrie Ann gave Cody and Cheryl a 9 score, Len a 9, Derek an 8, Bruno a 9 for a total of 35 points.
Melora Hardin and Artem Chigvintsev danced a Rumba routine. Afterwards, Len said, “It was mission accomplished.”
Derek said, “It was a well done, pure rumba.” Bruno said, “You got the right motion from the feet to the body and arms, and it went from sexy to romantic to cheeky.” Carrie Ann said, “Your hip action was improved, but there was a lack of expression in your hands, and there was a moment where your feet came off the ground, which means I’m going to have to dock a point.”
Carrie Ann gave Melora and Artem an 8, Len a 10, Derek a 9, Bruno a 9 for a total of 36 points.
Suni Lee and Sasha Farber delivered a Foxtrot number. Afterwards, Carrie Ann said, “It was full of joy, potential and confidence.”
Len said, “Your frame was terrific in hold, but your footwork was a little suspect now and again, but otherwise, it was a terrific, happy-go-lucky dance.” Derek said, “I’m loving Suni 2.0, but your frame was a little too bouncy.”
Bruno said, “It was a fast song for a foxtrot, but you handled it well and the connection was wonderful, but the dance was a little bouncy.”
Carrie Ann gave Suni and Sasha a 10, Len a 9, Derek a 9, Bruno a 9 for a total of 37 points.
JoJo Siwa and Jenna Johnson danced an Argentine Tango routine. Afterwards, Len said, “It was bloody brilliant.” Derek said, “It was impressive and clean.” Bruno said, “You blew all of my fuses again. It was outstanding.” Carrie Ann said, “I liked the clarity the first time, but this time, you added passion, and you were an extension of one being.”
Carrie Ann gave JoJo and Jenna a 10, Len a 10, Derek a 10, Bruno a 10 for a perfect 40 score!
Iman Shumpert and Daniella Karagach performed a Tango dance. Afterwards, Derek said, “You debunked the idea that you can’t have a great frame with a major height difference.” Bruno said, “You delivered the goods, and your top line was much better than before. However, you squat a little from time to time.” Carrie Ann said, “I loved the frame. It was fantastic.” Len said, “It was a vast improvement.”
Carrie Ann gave Iman and Daniella a 9, Len a 9, Derek a 10, Bruno a 9 for a total of 37 points.
Amanda Kloots and Alan Bersten danced a Tango number. Afterwards, Len said, “It was fabulous, and you had much improved body contact.” Derek said, “You had great attack and frame.” Bruno said, “It was the clear-cut brilliance of a diamond.” Carrie Ann said, “You danced the tango like a boss. However, your leg came off the floor.”
Carrie Ann gave Amanda and Alan a 9, Len a 10, Derek a 10, Bruno a 10 for a total of 39 points.
At this point, all the couples did their second performances of the night, starting with Melora Hardin and Artem Chigvintsev. They did a Contemporary dance.
Afterwards, Len said, “It was full of attack and purpose, and you’re always a joy to watch.” Derek said, “I always feel your love of dance.” Bruno said, “I appreciate your light motion and sense of freedom.” Carrie Ann said, “You’re a beautiful, lyrical dancer.”
Carrie Ann gave Melora and Artem a 9, Len a 9, Derek a 9, Bruno a 9 for a total of 36 points.
Cody Rigsby and Cheryl Burke danced an Argentine Tango. Afterwards, Derek said, “Cheryl was working overtime during this routine, but Cody, you did a great job too.” Bruno said, “It was red hot with great ganchos.” Carrie Ann said, “You brought the drama to the dance, but it looked like there was an incident early on in the routine.” Len said, “I remember giving you 6s before, but you’ve come so far.”
Carrie Ann gave Cody and Cheryl a 9, Len a 9, Derek a 9, Bruno a 9 for a total of 36 points.
Suni Lee and Sasha Farber did a Contemporary dance. Afterwards, Bruno said, “The lifts and jumps were absolutely weightless, and your ability to express yourself was inspiring.”
Carrie Ann said, “You showed your versatility and creative growth, bringing the audience into your world.” Len said, “I loved the feeling and lifts, but the choreography got a bit samey and repetitive.” Derek said, “You have learned to enjoy yourself and not just seek outward validation.”
Carrie Ann gave Suni and Sasha a 10, Len a 9, Derek a 10, Bruno a 9 for a total of 38 points.
JoJo Siwa and Jenna Johnson served up a Contemporary dance. Afterwards, Carrie Ann said, “There was so much emotion and the performance was so in sync.”
Len said, “You dance with such maturity.” Derek said, “It was the best contemporary dance in the show’s history.” Bruno said, “It was exquisite, and it sent me to dance heaven.”
Carrie Ann gave Suni and Sasha a 10, Len a 10, Derek a 10, Bruno a 10 for a perfect 40 score.
Iman Shumpert and Daniella Karagach danced a Jazz number. Afterwards, Len said, “It had more lifts than Uber, and I loved them, but there was a stagger in there.”
Derek said, “It was amazing, not just the lifts, but the choreography.” Bruno said, “I’m getting body envy from Iman, but the lifts were heart-stopping. However, there was a tiny stumble.” Carrie Ann said, “You bring something different, but it’s athletic, artistic and spectacular.”
Carrie Ann gave Iman and Daniella a 10, Len a 9, Derek a 10, Bruno a 9 for a total 38 points.
Amanda Kloots and Alan Bersten did a Contemporary dance. Afterwards, Derek said, “I’m happy that you’ll always have this moment to remember.” Bruno said, “I’m totally mesmerized. It was beyond critique.” Carrie Ann said, “You disappeared into the moment, and it transcended beauty and perfection.” Len said, “It was fantastic.”
Carrie Ann gave Amanda and Alan a 10, Len a 10, Derek a 10, Bruno a 10 for a perfect 40 score!
