The Rookie Season 4, November 21, 2021 Episode 8 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight
Hey,”The Rookie” fans. Unfortunately, we’ve got some very bad news for you guys in this article. Yeah, we had to jump on here and inform you that for some unknown reason, ABC will not be airing the next,new episode 8 of The Rookie’s current season 4 tonight, November 21, 2021. They also won’t be airing it next Sunday night, November 28, 2021.
That’s right, guys. The Rookie is currently in the midst of a 2-week delay. ABC confirmed that they do plan to air the new episode 8 on Sunday night, December 5, 2021 in its usual, 9 pm central standard time slot. So, definitely be sure to mark down that very important date and time on your show calendars.
As for what ABC will be airing instead of the next, new episode 8 of The Rookie’s current season 4 tonight, we found out that they will be providing LIVE coverage of the 2021 American Music Awards. ABC’s official description for it reads like this, “Honoring musicians at the annual ceremony at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.”
Then, next Sunday night, November 28, 2021, ABC is going to air a special called, “The Great Christmas Light Fight.” Apparently, this show has had 8 seasons in the past, and this is the first episode of its 9th season.
ABC’s official description for it reads like this, “Ready, set, glow. The most wonderful time of the year is here as ABC’s hit decorating competition series, “The Great Christmas Light Fight,” returns for its ninth season. Families from California and Texas compete.”
Spoiler Warning: For those of you who are interested, we were able to track down some new promotional material for the next, new episode 8 of The Rookie’s current season 4. CBS apparently served up a new preview clip for it, and they also revealed the official title for episode 8. So, we’re going to go over those right now.
To start, ABC revealed that this new episode 8 of The Rookie’s current season 4 is officially titled/labeled, “Hit and Run.”
The preview clip for episode 8 looks pretty interesting and intense. It features new scenes with Nolan, Nyla and more. There’s some heavy chase scenes going on in this one. There’s a pretty funny scene that features some drunk lady on a bicycle telling the officers, “It’s not illegal to drink and bike” just before she passes out. Again, ABC confirmed that the next, new episode 8 of The Rookie’s current season 4 is scheduled to finally make its way to the air on Sunday night, December 5, 2021 at approximately 9 pm central standard time.
