The Amazing Race February 9, 2022 Eliminated No One (Recap)
Hey, “The Amazing Race” fans. Tonight, February 9, 2022, another new episode of The Amazing Race season 33 did indeed air.
Tonight’s episode kicked off with the teams learning they had to drive to the Tour de Fautea. Once they got there, they had to eat casu marzu, which is cheese with live maggots on it. Once they finished up that disgusting task, the teams were hit with their detours for this leg of the race.
They got to choose to do either the “Row, Row, Row Your Boat” detour, or the “Gently Down The Stream” detour.
In the “Row, Row, Row Your Boat” detour, the teams had to kayak out into the ocean, unhook 10 matching fish and bring them back to the beach to get their next clue.
In the “Gently Down The Stream” detour, the teams had to take a 15 minute cruise and look for 10 metal fish in the water. Once they returned, they had to pick up a chart and identify the correct sequence of fish to get their next clue.
After the teams successfully completed their detours, they had to go to the Port de Plaisance to get their next clue. Once they got there, they were hit with a Road Block challenge. In this challenge, one of the teammembers from each team had to repair holes on fishing nets to get their next clue. Once they got it, they were directed to run on foot to the Bonifacio Cliffs, which was the pit stop for this leg of the race.
Kim & Penn showed up in first place, and won a trip for two to Turkey from Travelocity. Raquel & Kayla took 2nd place. Ryan & Dusty came in 3rd place. Lala & Lulu showed up in 4th place. That means Arund & Natalia finished last again.
However, host Phil Keoghan told them this was another non-elimination leg. So, Arun & Natalia got yet another chance to stick around! No one was eliminated. However, we’re quite sure that Arund & Natalie will face some sort of penalty in the next leg. They’ll probably be the last ones that can start the next leg or something like that. We’ll have to wait and see.
The next, new episode of The Amazing Race season 31 is scheduled to air next Wednesday night, February 16, 2022 at approximately 7 pm central standard time on CBS.
