The Amazing Race May 15, 2024 Winners Revealed In Finale Episode (Recap)

Hey, “The Amazing Race” fans. Tonight, May 15, 2024, the very last episode for The Amazing Race’s current season 36 did indeed hit the air, and we finally found out who won this season at the end. Tonight’s new episode kicked off with the teams starting things off at Sosúa Beach in the Dominican Republic. The teams were on a catamaran, waiting to dive into the water to get their next clue.

When they got their clue, they got hit with some detour challenges. They got to choose to do either the “Dive Trip” or “Rum Sip” detour. In the “Dive Trip” detour, the teams had to correctly assemble diving equipment to get their next clue. In the “Rum Sip” detour, the teams had to correctly prepare drinks to get their next clue.

After the teams successfully completed their detours, they were told to go to Cabarete Beach to get their next clue. When they got there, they were hit with a Roadblock challenge. It required one team member to windsurf for sixty seconds to get their next clue.

After the teams wrapped up that Roadblock challenge, they were told to hit up Olympus Beach to get their next clue. When they got there, they were told to travel by dune buggies and tandem kayaks to Wilson’s Bar, which was the pit stop for this leg of the race.

Rod & Leticia showed up to the pit stop in first place, and won a trip for two to Rome, Italy. Juan & Shane showed up in second place. Ricky & Cesar took the very important 3rd spot to just narrowly avoid elimination. So, that sadly meant that poor Amber & Vinny were eliminated at this point.

Rod & Leticia, Juan & Shane and Ricky & Cesar were the final three teams who competed in the final, championship leg. It kicked off with them flying to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. When they got there, they went to the Philadelphia Museum of Art to get their first clues, which directed them to go to Lincoln Financial Field to get their next clue

When they got there, they got hit with a new Roadblock challenge. It required one team member to become a mascot and complete an obstacle course to get their next clue. After the teams knocked out that Roadblock, they were told to go to Pat’s and Geno’s to get their next clue.

When they got there, they were told to go to Head House Square to memorize and recite the Preamble to get their next clue. Each teammate had to recite different sections. After they successfully completed the Preamble task, they were told to go to Betsy Ross House.

When they got there, they got hit with another Roadblock challenge. It required one team member to correctly piece together America’s first official flag. After they completed it, they were told to go to Arch Street Meeting House to get their next clue.

When they got there, they had to assemble a 3D puzzle of the Liberty Bell to get their next clue. When they successfully completed that task, they were told to go to the Glen Foerd Estate, which was the finish line. Ricky & Cesar made it to the finish line first to win this season 36 of The Amazing Race, and the grand prize of $1 million dollars! Juan & Shane showed up in second place, and Rod & Leticia came in 3rd. How do you guys feel about that? Let us know in the comments section.

I thought it was unfair to the others contestants that didn’t win because the winners knew the city so well .
I’m sure they know all about each contestant background . They should do the last leg were no one is familiar.

Ricky and Caesar were destined to win. Every country, every competition was geared to their strengths.so boring and predictable. Do better, Amazing Race!
