The Amazing Race May 1, 2024 Eliminated Angie & Danny (Recap)
Hey, “The Amazing Race” fans. Tonight, May 1, 2024, another new episode of The Amazing Race’s current season 36 did arrive, and we saw another team get eliminated for not making it to the pit stop in time.
Tonight’s episode kicked off with the teams starting off this leg of the race in Bridgetown, Barbados. They learned that they needed to drive to Fairfield/Black Rock to get their first clue. When they got there, they got hit with a Roadblock challenge.
During this Roadblock challenge, one of the team members had to score 11 points against a local in a game of road tennis to get their next clue. When the teams successfully completed the Roadblock challenge, they were told to drive to the childhood home of R&B/popstar Rihanna to get their next clue. When they got there, the clue was inside a mailbox, and it told them to drive to Long Bay Beach to get their next clue.
When they got to Long Bay Beach, they got hit with their detour challenges for this leg of the race. They got to choose to do either the “Fish Pot Building” or “Seaweed Clearing” detour.
In the “Fish Pot Building” detour, the teams had to build a fish pot that was sturdy enough to get their next clue. In the “Seaweed Clearing” detour, the teams had to pick up enough seaweed from the beach to fill up one barrel to get their next clue.
When the teams successfully completed their detour challenges, they were directed to head to Hastings Rocks, which was the pit stop for this leg of the race. Ricky and Cesar arrived at the pit stop in first place and won $7,500 dollars each.
Juan & Shane took second place. Amber & Vinny arrived in 3rd place. Yvonne & Melissa took the 4th spot. Rod and Leticia grabbed the very important 5th place to just narrowly escape getting eliminated. That means poor Angie and Danny did arrive last and got eliminated for it.
