New Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2 Details Revealed With Premiere Date
Hey, “Stranger Things” fans. We totally hope you guys had a blast watching the most recent volume one of Stranger Things’ current season 4, which debuted this past Friday, May 27, 2022 with seven, large episodes. Since volume 1 is already out there, we’re pretty sure that at least most of you guys would like to know what’s coming up in the volume 2 edition when it hits Netflix on Friday, July 1, 2022.
Well, we were able to dig up a little something, something from the folks over at Variety.com. They’re telling us that volume 2 will actually only feature 2 episodes 8 and 9. However, they’re supposed to be super long. Like 85 minutes each for a total of nearly two and a half hours. So, it’ll be like watching a pretty long movie.
The Variety people spoke with the creators of Stranger Things Matt and Ross Duffer aka the Duffer Brothers, and they revealed that episode 7 of volume 1 sets up episodes 8 and 9 in a way that makes the two-episode Volume 2 feel like it can stand alone.
They stated, “Episode 7 is as big as any season finale we’ve ever had, so it made sense to everyone involved to split the season there. Episode 7 really serves as the end of the second act, and we feel that our final act had enough meat on the bone to make up Volume 2.”
The Duffer Brothers were also asked how long do they think it will take for the final season 5 to arrive on Netflix, and they really believe that it won’t take as long as it has in the past stating, “Don’t hold us to it, but the gap should be quite a bit shorter this time due to the fact that we already have an initial outline, and we can’t imagine there will be another six-month forced hiatus.”
Lastly, the Duffer Brothers mentioned that they do have a “Stranger Things” spin off idea in mind after the Stranger Things series ends, and they’re quite excited about it. They stated, “We do have an idea for a spinoff that we’re super excited about, but we haven’t told anyone the idea yet, much less written it.
We think everyone, including Netflix, will be surprised when they hear the concept because it’s very, very different.”
Again, Stranger Things season 4, volume 2 is currently scheduled to release on Friday, July 1, 2022 on Netflix. Alright, guys. That’s all we’ve got for this latest, “Stranger Things” TV show report, but definitely stay tuned for more.
