New Bachelorette 2022 Reportedly A Production Nightmare. Is On Cruise Ship & More

Hey, Bachelor Nation fans. We are back you with some more very interesting details about the upcoming Bachelorette 2022 edition aka season 19 with headliners Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia. As most of you know, these two ladies will be headlining this new season of The Bachelorette together. They’re not getting their own separate seasons, and they’re going to headline this season together until the very end.

According to the folks over at Usmagazine.com , former The Bachelor headliner Nick Viall got to talk with The Bachelorette producers about this new Bachelorette 2022 season, and he spilled some new details about it on one of his recent Viall Files podcast shows.

Apparently, we’re going to see some of it take place on a cruise ship, and it’ll have more of a “Bachelor In Paradise” feel to it because the guys will have options to mingle with either Gabby or Rachel.

Nick stated, “I’ve heard it’s going to be very different, and it’s going to have a Paradise feel to it. It is on a cruise ship — part of it. I asked people because it sounds like the producers think it’s gonna be really interesting, but very different.”

Nick went on to explain that the guys can just pretty much jump around to either Gabby or Rachel at any moment. He explained, “If it doesn’t work out, like if, let’s say Gabby was like, feeling it with ‘Frank.’ ‘Frank’ could be like, ‘Rachel, what’s up?’ There’s a little bit of like, options, right? And the thing about Paradise, what makes it different is people have options.”

Next, Nick talked about what the production of this double-Bachelorette season was like. Apparently, it was anything but easy to film for the production crew, and they actually hope they never have to do anything like this ever again!

Apparently, the production crew was only preparing for a single-Bachelorette season. Then, this double-Bachelorette season got sprung on them at the last minute. So, they had to scramble to try and fit all of these new elements in with very limited time.

Nick explained,”The producers said it was hell to film because they decided to have two Bachelorettes, like, last second. So, the scheduling was for one Bachelorette. They had to jam it all in. And then I asked, I’m like, ‘What if it goes really well, like, this is a hit?’ The people I talk to, they hope they never do it again. Just because of the logistics. I think a cruise ship probably was the challenge.”

Lastly, Nick talked about how he thinks the dynamics of this double-Bachelorette season is going to work. He thinks the guys will get divided up or something like that to start off this new season, and they will get to choose who they want to date or talk to.

Nick stated, “My understanding is early on, they’re very much going to be dividing up the men, like, each will basically have their respective season. It would be like if two friends go to a bar and after the first night, they just decide — or go to a party and be like, ‘Who are you into?’ And they just kind of just decide. I think they really are going out of their way to not pit two women against one another.”

So, there you have it, guys. That’s somewhat of an idea of what you can expect to see when the new 2022 edition of The Bachelorette with headliners Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia premieres on your TV screens on Monday night, July 11, 2022 at approximately 7 pm central standard time on ABC.
