Yellowstone Season 5, January 8, 2023 Episode 9 Delayed. Not Airing For A While

Hey, “Yellowstone” fans. Unfortunately, we have some super bad news to drop on you in this article. It turns out that episode 8 of Yellowstone’s current season 5, which aired last Sunday night, January 1, 2023 was the mid-season finale episode of this 14 episode season. That means Paramount will not be airing the next, new episode 9 tonight, January 8,2023 and for a lot more Sunday nights to come.

Here is a second round of bad news. Currently, we can’t tell you an exact date to expect the new episode 9. The only thing we’re hearing, right now, is that it’s due to air sometime in the Summer of 2023. With that vague, little info, we know that it will be at least another 6 months or so before episode 9 hits the air. We’ll definitely let you guys know when Paramount Network serves up an exact air date for episode 9. Just be sure to follow us on our Yellowstone Twitter Page by Clicking Here to be notified as soon as we reveal it.

We did take the liberty of tracking down what Paramount Network will be airing instead of new Yellowstone episodes tonight and next Sunday night. According to the TV guide listings, Paramount Network is going to air the 1989, Indiana Jones classic movie, “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.”

Paramount Network’s official description for this Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade movie reads like this, “Archaeologist Jones (Harrison Ford) rescues his kidnapped father (Sean Connery), and the two race the Nazis to find the Holy Grail.”

Next Sunday night, Paramount Network is going to air the 2007 Spider-Man 3 flick. Paramount Network’s official description for it reads like this, “Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) undergoes an ominous transformation when his Spider-Man suit turns black and brings out the dark, vengeful side of his personality.”

If any of you guys find these movies to be enticing at all, you might still want to watch Paramount Network tonight and next Sunday night during that time. If you only want to see brand new Yellowstone episodes on Paramount Network, you’ll definitely want to skip the Paramount Network for at least the next 6 months or so.

Yellowstone season 5’s first half averaged 8.206 million LIVE viewers per episode, and a 1.49 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The most recent episode 8, which aired last Sunday night, January 1, 2023, drew in 8.189 million LIVE viewers, and a 1.48 ratings score.

These numbers are just the Neilson LIVE ratings numbers, and they do not include all the viewers from the on-demand streaming platforms. We’re guessing with the streaming numbers included, this show reaches about 14 million or so people per episode. So, things are still going great for this series.

Again, it’s been revealed that the next, new episode 9 of Yellowstone’s current season 5 is scheduled to finally hit the air sometime this Summer 2023. We will give you guys an exact date when it becomes available.

Alright, guys. That is a wrap for this latest, “Yellowstone” TV show report, but definitely stay tuned for more.
