Survivor April 26, 2023 Voted Off Kane Fritzler (Recap)
Hey, “Survivor” fans. Tonight, April 26, 2023, another new episode of Survivor season 44 did indeed hit the air, and another unlucky contestant got voted off at the end. Tonight’s new episode kicked off with Danny talking to the private cams about the last tribal council meeting, which sent Brandon Cottom packing.
Danny said, “Everything went exactly as planned. It was a good feeling. The game plan was to weaken Ratu to even things out. It worked perfectly.”
Lauren ,who was working with Brandon, told the private cams, “I didn’t see that vote coming. Our numbers are dwindling. We should’ve split the votes, but we didn’t.” Yam Yam told the private cams, “Everything’s looking good for me now.” He joked that anyone who writes his name down at tribal council is in danger.
Kane told the private cams, “Brandon leaving woke me up. I need to find an idol. Danny’s a big threat, and he will continue to be a big threat.” Danny told the private cams that he would like to find another idol since he used the only one he had at the last tribal council meeting on Frannie.
Danny went looking for an idol, and he didn’t care who knew it. In fact, everyone was seen looking for an idol, and Heidi was the one who eventually found it. She told the private cams that her plan is to not tell anyone about it so it can’t get flushed. It can be used up until there’s only 5 players left in the game.
At one point, they got a note, which told them that they would be negotiating for a big bag of rice at the next immunity challenge. In other words, some people would have to volunteer to sit out of the challenge in order for them to all get some rice.
At the immunity challenge, host Jeff Probst told them they could get the rice if 4 people volunteered to sit out of the challenge. Carson, Lauren, Kane and Heidi all volunteered to sit out of the challenge so everyone could get some rice.
During the immunity challenge, the ones that did compete had to stand on a small block while balancing a small ball on a piece of wood. The last one standing, won. It came down to Danny and Frannie in the end, and Frannie edged out Danny for the win. So, she was safe at this tribal council meeting.
Heidi campaigned to get Kane out. Carson, Carolyn and Yam Yam seemed to agree to it at that point, but Carson said he also wants to flush out Jaime’s immunity idol. Lauren told the private cams, “I want Danny out of this game.” Talks to split the votes between Danny, Jaime and Kane took place. At one point, Jaime decided to give Kane her immunity idol to hold it for her at this next tribal council meeting.
Frannie was seen pitching a plan to go after Carson, Carolyn and Yam Yam’s group, but Danny told her he didn’t agree with that, claiming they aren’t an immediate threat right now.
Yam Yam campaigned to get Kane out since he wrote his name down at the last tribal council meeting. Carolyn didn’t agree with Yam Yam’s campaigning to get Kane out because she wanted to get Danny out. The conversation footage wrapped on that note heading into the tribal council meeting.
At the tribal council meeting, Kane and Carolyn started whispering at one point. Then, just about everyone started whispering. Danny and Jaime’s names came up in the whisper conversations. After all of that, Danny ended up getting 1 vote, Jaime received 1 vote, Heidi got 3 votes, and Kane got a whopping 5 votes.
So, the plan to get Kane out did indeed stick, and he got the shaft with the 5 votes. He left calmly and even cracked a joke on the way out. Kane told the private cams, “I had an absolute blast.
