New The Voice May 8, 2023 Episode Preview Revealed
Hey, “The Voice” fans. We are back on here to let you know that your favorite singing show The Voice will be back in action with another new episode tonight, May 8, 2023. That’s right, guys. NBC is going to air the next, new 15th episode of The Voice’s current season 23 tonight, and we’ve got some new preview information for it to dish out to you guys.
NBC served up an official press release for tonight’s new, May 8, 2023 installment. So, we’re going to certainly look at it and tell you what’s happening tonight. Let’s get into it.
The first thing that NBC is telling us about tonight’s new episode of The Voice is that this will be part 2 of the Playoffs rounds. Team Kelly Clarkson and Team Niall’s artists will hit the stage to battle it out.
Then, the pressure will be on Kelly and Niall as they will only be able to choose only 2 artists from their teams to advance to the LIVE, semi-final rounds. The judges/coaches: Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton, Chance The Rapper and Niall Horan will, of course, be on hand to serve up their critiques and praises.
NBC’s official description for tonight’s new, May 8, 2023 episode 15 of The Voice reads like this, “THE PLAYOFFS PART 2.” The Playoffs continue as the 10 artists remaining across Team Kelly and Team Niall hold nothing back. Tough decisions are made when Kelly and Niall can only each advance two artists to the live semi-finals.”
NBC also released a new preview clip for tonight’s new, May 8, 2023 episode. It reveals that one of Kelly’s Playoffs Pass singer, D. Smooth will be performing Khalid’s “Location” song. Afterwards, Chance The Rapper said, “I really have not been worried at all until right now. That was insane. There was a lot of improv in it. You started making it your own song.
I can picture you in front of hundreds of thousands of fans screaming while you do your improv. I see the vision. This was the first time I felt smoke from any other team. I really have not been worried at all until right now.”
Blake said, “I don’t know that anybody has ever lived up to their name quite like you. Whatever trickery that was with the microphone there at the end, I’m going to be doing that now, just so you know. I will give you credit.”
Niall said, “D. Smooth, giving the people what they want. It was like one of those songs you would never do the same twice. I just feel for Kelly. This was your best performance on the show so far.”
Kelly said, “It’s my favorite thing you’ve ever done on the show. You sing it different every time. It’s almost like it’s your song. It’s a very rare thing. Congratulations. Awesome.” D. Smooth will compete with teammates ALI, Holly Brand, Neil Salsich and Cait Martin for a spot in the semifinals. NBC’s press release confirmed that The Voice will be brand new again tonight, May 8, 2023, and it will hit the air at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
