60 Minutes August 27, 2023 Episode Not New. It’s A Repeat. Preview Revealed
Hey, “60 Minutes” fans. We’re back at you on this Sunday afternoon to let you know that the CBS folks will be bringing you another episode of “60 Minutes” tonight, August 27, 2023. However, this will not be a new episode as they will air segments that have already previously aired in other episodes. Some of you guys might not have seen these repeat segments when they originally aired. So, we do have some preview information for them to run by you.
CBS put out a new, official press release for tonight’s August 27, 2023 repeat episode. So, we will certainly reference it for this preview session. Let’s get into it.
The first description for tonight’s August 27, 2023 repeat episode reveals that CBS will be re-airing a segment titled, “TARGETING SENIORS.” CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “Cyber con artists using artificial intelligence, apps and social engineering are targeting parents and grandparents who are being scammed out of what now totals $10 billion dollars a year in America. Sharyn Alfonsi speaks with victims, law enforcement and technology consultants about ways to protect seniors from these widespread cons.”
The second description reveals that CBS is going to re-air a segment titled, “THE RESURRECTION OF NOTRE DAME.” CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “Four years after the Cathedral of Notre Dame was nearly destroyed by fire, Bill Whitaker returns to Paris to witness the resurrection of the medieval structure and powerful symbol of France.
Whitaker climbs to the top of the cathedral and speaks with its chief architect on the incredible attention to detail needed to restore the historic monument.”
The 3rd and last description for tonight’s August 27, 2023 repeat episode of 60 Minutes lets us know that CBS is going to re-air a segment titled, “THE SPERM WHALES OF DOMINICA.” CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “The sperm whale, one of the largest animals in the sea, is at risk because of noise pollution, ship strikes and plastic trash.
Cecilia Vega dives in off the coast of Dominica, where hundreds of sperm whales live year-round, to observe these mysterious mammals and understand the efforts to protect the vulnerable species.”
If any of you guys happened to have missed these repeat segments of 60 Minutes when they originally hit the air, you might still want to flip on CBS tonight to check them out. If you did already see these repeat segments, and you have no desire to watch them again, you will certainly want to make some alternate plans for tonight as soon as you can.
Again, CBS’ press release confirmed that 60 Minutes will be a repeat episode again tonight, August 27,2023, and it’s scheduled to show up on your TV screens, starting at approximately 6 pm central standard time.
