Late Show Stephen Colbert August 28, 29, 30, 31, September 1, 2023 Episodes Not New. They’re Repeats
Hey,”The Late Show With Host Stephen Colbert” fans. We’re back on here to inform you that CBS ,unfortunately, has to serve up another full week of repeat episodes of The Late Show again all this week , August 28-September 1, 2023 due to the ongoing situation with the WGA writers strike. Yep, it’s still going on. It started back on May 2, 2023, and there still doesn’t appear to be an end in sight.
The latest negotiations did not go well as the WGA writers union turned down another counter-offer from the studios. The real big fear is that if a deal isn’t struck by the time November rolls around, that’ll be it for this year because everyone will take their holiday break. So, hopefully, a deal will get made by then. We’ll see.
With all that said, CBS served up an official press release, which reveals all of the repeat episodes of The Late Show they plan to air this week. So, we’re going to tell you what those are right now. Let’s get to it.
Tonight, August 28, 2023, CBS is going to re-air the episode that originally aired back on February 28, 2023. It featured: Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex takes “The Colbert Questionert,” actor Kal Penn and a performance by Big Thief.
On Tuesday night, August 29, 2023, CBS is going to re-air the episode that originally aired back on November 9, 2021. It featured: actor Quentin Tarantino, and ssegmentfeaturing Stephen revealing Paul Rudd as People’s “Sexiest Man Alive.”
On Wednesday night, August 30, 2023, CBS is going to re-air the episode that originally aired back on December 13, 2022. It featured: RuPaul, a Performance by Ed Sheeran, THE LATE SHOW Presents “A Very Cold War Christmas.”
On Thursday night, August 31, 2023, CBS is going to re-air the episode that originally aired back on January 14, 2022. It featured: Bradley Cooper takes “The Colbert Questionert,” Corey Stoll and a Performance by Geese.
On Friday night, September 1, 2023, CBS is going to re-air the episode that originally aired back on April 11, 2023. It featured: Jennifer Garner, Rep. Katie Porter and “Rescue Dog Rescue” with Jennifer Garner.
If any of you guys happened to have missed those repeat episodes of The Late Show when they originally made their debut, you might still want to flip on CBS during the late nights this week to check them out. If you did catch these repeat episodes during their original airing, and you don’t feel the need to watch them again, you will certainly want to make some alternate, late-night plans this week.
Again, CBS’ press release confirmed that the Late Show With Host Stephen Colbert will be repeat episodes again all this week, August 28-September 1, 2023, and they’re scheduled to hit your TV sets, starting at approximately 10:35 pm central standard time.
