Big Brother September 14, 2023 Evicted Izzy. New HOH Winner Revealed (Recap)
Hey, “Big Brother” fans. Tonight, September 14, 2023, another new, LIVE eviction episode for Big Brother’s current season 25 did indeed hit the air, and another houseguest did get evicted at the end. We’ve also got the results of who won the latest HOH (Head Of Household) competition.
Tonight’s new, LIVE eviction episode kicked off with footage of what took place in the house after POV (Power Of Veto) winner Jared decided not to use the POV at the last POV ceremony, leaving Izzy and Felicia on the block as the final eviction nominees for this week.
Jared told the Diary room aka private cams, “I decided not to use the veto because the risk of my mom going up is too dangerous.” Cirie told the private cams, “This is like being in my worst nightmare because both Felicia and Izzy are counting on my vote. I really hope the house is leaning towards keeping Izzy. Sorry Felicia.”
Cory told the private cams that he’s looking to keep Izzy. Izzy told the private cams, “I have the votes to stay in this house. The only alliance I truly care about is the one I have with Cirie and Jared.”
America told the private cams, “Izzy is the better game player. Why is everyone so scared to take the shot?” America told Cameron that he was actually Jared’s target last week. Cameron was surprised to hear that. Cameron told the private cams that he has figured out Jared works for Cirie. “No wonder Jared took such a big pause when I suggested Cirie go on the block as a replacement nominee,” he said.
America talked with Matt about what’s going on in the game. Matt told the private cams, “I might be ok working with America short term. I wanna be on her good side in case she wins HOH in the future.” Matt told America that Cirie played for the secret power during a couple of weeks ago.
Then, America ran and told Cory that Matt told her Cirie played for the secret power. That caused Cory to realize he’s on the outs with Cirie, Izzy and Jared. Cory told the private cams,”It might be time to flip and get Izzy out. I’ve been getting played.”
Cory told Jag that he’s been getting played in regards to the 7 deadly sins alliance with Cirie, Izzy, Felicia and Jared. Jag said he’s been very suspicious about Jared and Cirie. Jag told the private cams, “To me, the 7 deadly sins alliance is dead because they’ve leaked info to other people outside the alliance.”
Cory and America started working on getting other people to vote out Izzy over Felicia. At one point, America told the private cams, “This is my love language. Tell me how we’re going to flip the house.” It was a great Diary room for her.
Cory was seen convincing Bowie that she definitely needed to vote off Izzy. Bowie told the private cams, “These people have left me out of plans all season. I will gladly vote out Izzy.” Cory talked with Mecole. After they talked, Mecole told the private cams, “It makes sense to vote out Izzy this week.”
Cory talked with Matt and told him, “I’m voting to evict Izzy because we are both getting played by Izzy, Cirie and the 7 deadly sins alliance.” Matt said, “My mind is blown.” Jag came in and backed up Cory’s claims. Matt said, “I need to think about it.”
After all of that, the eviction nominees Felicia and Izzy gave their final plea speeches. Then, the rest of the houseguests minus HOH Cameron cast their votes to evict.
America, Cory, Matt, Jared, Bowie, Blue, Jag and Mecole all voted to evict Izzy. Cirie voted to evict Felicia. So, by a landslide vote of 8-1, Izzy was evicted from the Big Brother season 25 house tonight.
Izzy gave her exit interview with host Julie Chen-Moonves. During it, Izzy told Julie, “Cory was the reason for my eviction. My biggest mistake was thinking I could ever trust him. I was always skeptical of him, but he always said the right things and that clouded my judgement.
It was too soon to try and blow up Cirie and Jared’s connection. I really hope Cirie and Jared survive and go really far. I wanna see my family take it to the end.” Izzy got to hear some goodbye messages. After that, Izzy said, “I love this. I would do it again in a heartbeat. No regrets.”
Before the new HOH competition, Julie announced that they’re doing the old school jury of seven since it’s the 25th Anniversary of Big Brother. So, there’s still a lot more game to be played before jury starts.
The new HOH comp was an endurance comp that required the houseguests to just hang on to a wall for dear life. The last one hanging, won it. It was pretty straight forward. However, the houseguests did get blasted with cold water. The wall leaned a lot to make it tougher for them to stay on along with a lot of other annoying distractions.
The HOH comp lasted beyond the time constraints of the LIVE eviction episode, but thanks to the LIVE feeds, we were able to get the results of who won it tonight. Unlike the last endurance competition, which lasted almost 14 hours, this one didn’t even last an hour, and Jared was the last one left hanging. So, Jared won this HOH comp to become the new HOH this week.
Julie Chen-Moonves announced at the end of the LIVE eviction episode that next Thursday night’s LIVE eviction episode will be a double eviction. So, get ready for that. We expect Jared to reveal his nominees for eviction sometime tomorrow, September 14, 2023. So, we will certainly be back on here with those results when they become available.
