America’s Got Talent September 20, 2023 Qualifiers 5 Results Revealed (Recap)
Hey, “America’s Got Talent” fans. Tonight, September 20, 2023, another new, results episode for America’s Got Talent’s current season 18 did indeed air, and we found out who is moving on to the finals from last night’s Qualifiers 5 round. 11 contestants performed last night for America’s vote, and only the top two vote-getters from last night’s group will advance to the finals. Oh, and there’s also an Instant save, which will allow a 3rd contestant into the finals tonight.
Tonight’s new results episode kicked off with them getting right down to business and revealing that Eduardo Antonio is in the top 5, and Grace Good got eliminated. Shortly after that, they revealed that the 82nd Division Airborne chorus was safe, and poor Sangsoon Kim and Mandy Muden got eliminated.
Next, they revealed that Avantgardey is still safe, and poor Trailer Flowers and Eseniia Mikheeva were eliminated. After that, they quickly revealed that the Ramadhani Brothers and Gabriel Henrique are still safe, and poor Lachune got eliminated.
At this point, host Terry Crews revealed the top 3 contestants, which were the Ramadhani Brothers, 82nd Airborne Division Chorus and Gabriel Henrique. Next, Terry revealed that 82nd Division Airborne Chorus made it through to the finals, and the Ramadani Brothers made it through to the finals as the top 2 vote-getters from last night’s LIVE performances episode.
From here, it was revealed that the judges: Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara got to pick a wildcard contestant that they wanted to see go through to the finals. Simon chose Atlanta Drum Academy. Sofia chose Gabriel Henrique. Heidi chose the sword swallower Herwan Legaillard. Howie chose Avantgardey.
America was given 5 minutes to submit their votes for one of these wild card contestants. After the votes were tabulated, it was revealed that Avantgardey received the most votes. So, Avantgardey was able to slide into the finals via the Instant Save vote from America.
So, to recap, 82nd Division Airborne Chorus, Ramadhani Brothers and Avantgardey will advance to the finals from this Qualifiers 5 group. Poor: Grace Good, Sangsoon Kim, Mandy Muden, Trailer Flowers, Eseniia Mikheeva, Lachuné, Eduardo Antonio Trevino and Gabriel Henrique were all eliminated. How do you guys feel about that?
