Amazing Race October 4, 2023 Eliminated Elizabeth & Iliana (Recap)
Hey, “The Amazing Race” fans. Tonight, October 4, 2023, another new episode for The Amazing Race’s current season 35 did indeed hit the air, and another unlucky team did get sent packing at the end of it.
Tonight’s new episode kicked off with the teams learning they had to travel to the city of Nakhon Pathom and find Wat Suwannaram to get their next clue. Once they got there, they got hit with a new Road Block challenge.
In this road block challenge, they had to collect enough lotus bulbs to correctly make bundles. These bundles had 10 bulbs and leaves wrapped together. Ashlie had a really hard time with this challenge. She got it wrong so many times and got passed up by multiple teams. She did finally get it right before it got to be a super serious problem.
After successfully completing this road block challenge, the teams had to travel by taxi to an elephant statue. Once they got there, they had to put a coin in the elephant statue. Then, walk under it 3 times to get their next clue. This clue revealed that they had to complete a detour challenge.
The detours challenges for this leg were called, “Stock Up” and “Pick Up.” In the “Stock Up” challenge, they had to pick up a shopping list for a restaurant. Then, get all the items on the list with a basket and handcart to get their next clue. In the “Scoop Up” challenge, they had to load up a boat full of pomelo fruits until they had enough to fill up 5 buckets and deliver them for their next clue.
After the teams successfully completed one of the detour challenges, they were directed to go to Suan Sampran, which was the pit stop for this leg of the race. Victor & Jocelyn showed up in first place and won $2000 dollars each. Rob & Corey came in 2nd place. John & Greg took 3rd place.
Morgan & Lena came in 4th. Todd & Ashlie claimed the 5th spot. Steve & Anna Leigh took 6th place. Joe & Ian came in 7th. Yeremi & Liam finished in 8th place. Joel & Garrett took the 9th spot. Andrea and Malaina came in 10th place. Robbin & Chelsea took the very important 11th spot to just narrowly avoid coming in last. Elizabeth & Iliana finished last.
