The Challenge USA October 5, 2023 Eliminated Michele Fitzgerald (Recap)
Hey, “The Challenge USA” fans. Tonight, October 5, 2023, another new episode of The Challenge USA season 2 did indeed hit the air, and we saw another contestant’s game end at the conclusion of it.
Tonight’s new episode kicked off with Michele facing the music with Desi and Chanelle for not voting with them to get Tori out during the last secret vote even though she said she would. Desi and Chanelle ,of course, told her they don’t trust her anymore. Tori came into confront Desi and Chanelle for them voting to get her out. It got pretty emotional as Desi and Chanelle had no choice but to fess up to voting for her.
Tori told the private cams, “I’m definitely putting my vote on Chanelle and Desi moving forward. Desi and Chris talked. Desi told the private cams, “I’m open to working with Chris. I know how it feels to have everyone be against you.”
After all of that, host TJ Lavin showed up with the new individual challenge. It was titled, “Brain Squeeze.” During it, they had to find bags of puzzle pieces inside of a fort and carry them to a puzzle station. Then, complete a puzzle for the win. There were a total of 8 puzzle pieces located all through the fort. So, they had to find all of them to complete their puzzles.
Desi helped Chris out by telling him there were 8 puzzle pieces while the other guys thought there were only 7. That gave him a really good advantage. Also, Michaela lied to Johnny by telling him there were no more pieces in the fort. So, he ran back with only 7 pieces, which also helped out Chris even more.
Chris did eventually win for the guys, and Desi won for the women. So, Desi and Chris were safe from elimination and got to pick which man and woman to send to the elimination challenge.
Michaela and Michele got into an argument because Michele overheard Michaela telling the guys how Michele did some scandalous things with the vote at the last secret vote. Meanwhile, Chris and Desi decided to nominate Michele and Josh for the elimination challenge.
Michele and Josh showed up at the elimination challenge. Then, the secret votes were revealed. Cory got 1 vote. Chanelle got 1 vote, and Cassidy received 7 votes. Those votes went into the ball hopper machine ,and host TJ Lavin drew Cassidy’s name. So, Josh was safe since a man’s name didn’t get drawn.
However, Michele did have to play against Cassidy in the elimination challenge. This one was titled, “Hot Wheel.” During it, Michele and Cassidy were both connected to a wheel apparatus that had a long bar and torch connected to hit. They fought to spin the wheel in a direction that would burn out 6 of their flags.
The first one to burn six of their flags, won. Cassidy won it in very convincing fashion 6-1 by making Michele gas out and loose control of the wheel. So, Michele did get eliminated. Michele told the private cams, “I wanna cry. I wanted this win so bad to prove to myself that I could do it.”
