New Saturday Night LIVE October 14, 2023 Season 49 Premiere Episode Preview Revealed
Hey, “Saturday Night LIVE” fans. We’ve got some super terrific news for you guys tonight. Yes, the wait is finally over. Now that the writers strike is well behind us, NBC will finally debut another brand new episode of Saturday Night LIVE tonight, October 14, 2023.
That’s right, guys. This is going to be the first new episode they’ve aired since the writers strike started up back on May 2, 2023. Tonight’s new episode will be the premiere episode 1 of Saturday Night LIVE’s new season 49, and we’ve got some new preview information for it.
NBC served up an official press release for tonight’s new, October 14, 2023 premiere episode 1. So, we will certainly reference it for this preview session. Let’s get to it.
In tonight’s new, October 14, 2023 episode 1, you guys are going to see 29 year old American comedian, actor and writer Pete Davidson show up to handle the hosting duties. He’s also a former castmember of Saturday Night LIVE. So, it’ll be a union of sorts.
NBC’s official description for Pete Davidson’s appearance reads like this, “The 49th season of “Saturday Night Live” will premiere Oct. 14 with Pete Davidson returning to Studio 8H for his hosting debut. Davidson is currently on a stand-up tour throughout the U.S. and Canada.”
You guys will also see 23 year old American rapper Ice Spice show up to deliver some musical performances in tonight’s new episode. It will be her very first appearance on Saturday Night LIVE. Ice Spice was recently named Best New Artist at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards, and her music is on 4 billion global streams.
NBC’s official description for Ice Spice’s appearance on tonight’s new episode reads like this,”Ice Spice will perform as “SNL” musical guest for the first time. Her music has reached more than 4 billion global streams in the past year, and she was named Best New Artist at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards.”
NBC’s official description for tonight’s new, October 14, 2023 episode 1 of Saturday Night LIVE season 49 reads like this, “‘SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE’ TO PREMIERE ITS 49TH SEASON OCT. 14 ON NBC AND PEACOCK WITH HOST PETE DAVIDSON AND MUSICAL GUEST ICE SPICE.”
NBC’s press release confirmed that the new, premiere episode 1 of Saturday Night LIVE’s new season 49 is indeed scheduled to make its debut on your TV screens tonight, October 14, 2023, starting at approximately 10:29 pm central standard time. Tonight’s new episode will be a 90-minute event. So, expect to see it wrap up at 12 am central standard time.
