The Amazing Race October 18, 2023 Eliminated Jocelyn & Victor (Recap)
Hey, “The Amazing Race” fans. Tonight, October 18, 2023, another new episode for The Amazing Race’s current season 35 hit the air, and we did see another team get eliminated at the end of it. Tonight’s new episode kicked off with the teams continuing this same leg from the last episode, which left us with a “To Be Continued” message.
The teams had to travel by cab where a barista served coffee and gave them their next clue, which revealed their detours named: Stand or Deliver. They got to choose which one they wanted to do. In the stand detour, they had to go to an Inland fishery and properly display seafood. Their seafood stall had to match what the vendors’ stall looked like to get their next clue.
In the deliver detour, they had to deliver four, 66 pound mattresses to a hotel to get their next clue. After they successfully completed the detour they picked, the teams were directed to go to Ong Pagoda to make a wish. After that, they got a clue that told them they needed to head to the Hung King Temple by taxi to get their next clue.
Once they got there, they were hit with a Roadblock challenge. During it, one of the team members had to match a tile to the photo provided. There were thousands of red tiles on the stairs at this location. So, they had to run around to all of them to find the match. Jocelyn and Victor ran into a lot of trouble with this one. It kept them there until all the other teams passed them up.
After successfully completing the roadblock challenge, they teams were told to go to the Hung King Temple, which was the pit stop for this leg of the race.
Robbin and Chelsea showed up in first place and won a trip for two to Madrid,Spain. Steve and Anna Leigh took 2nd place. Todd and Ashlie came in 3rd. Joe and Ian came in 4th place. Corey and Rob finished in the 5th spot.
Liam and Yeremi took 6th place. Malaina and Andrea came in 7th place. Greg and John came in 8th place. Joel and Garrett took the 9th spot. Morgan and Lena got the very important 10th place to just narrowly avoid coming in last. That means Jocelyn & Victor did show up last, and they were eliminated. They said they were happy and proud that they did actually finish the leg even though they were in last place.
