The Amazing Race November 15, 2023 Eliminated Morgan & Lena (Recap)
Hey, “The Amazing Race” fans. Tonight, November 15, 2023, another new episode of The Amazing Race’s current season 35 did indeed hit the air, and another unlucky team got eliminated at the very end of it for not quite being fast enough. Tonight’s new episode kicked off with the teams learning they had to head over to Ljubljana, Slovenia to get their next clue for this leg of the race.
Once they got to Slovenia, the teams had to go to Congress Square to pick up a car and drive to an airfield to find their next clue. At the airfield, the teams were hit with a Roadblock challenge. During it, one of the team members had to get on a glider and glide above the skyline to collect 4 scrambled numbers that made up the year Slavenia gained their independence, which was 1991.
When the teams successfully completed the gliding Roadblock challenge, they had to drive to the Planica Nordic Centre to get their next clue. When they got there, they learned that there was an Express Pass up for grabs. To get it, they had to climb 1100 steps and take the steepest zipline down.
Ashlie and Todd tried to get the Express Pass and miss their marked entry. Rob and Corey also went for the Express pass. Todd and Ashlie realized their mistake and try to catch up to Rob and Corey. However, Todd and Ashlie eventually just give up. Greg and John also went for the Express pass. Eventually, Rob and Corey got the Express pass.
Meanwhile, the other teams had to ski to the top of a mountain before choosing a detour, which was either “Field Work” or “House Work.”
In the “Field Work” detour, the teams had to collect fluff and store hay to get their next clue. In the “House Work” detour, the teams had to create a home for a colony of bees to get their next clue. At one point, Steve and Anna Leigh went to try to get the Express Pass, but it was already taken. So, the time they wasted trying to get it put them further behind. Anna Leigh totally thought they were dead last at this point.
After successfully completing their detours, the teams had to drive to the Neboti?nik Skyscraper to get their next clue. Morgan and Lena got lost trying to find the skyscraper. So, that put them behind a lot of the teams.
Once the teams got to the skyscraper, they had to walk up a huge, spiral staircase to get their next clue. When they got it, they were directed to go to the Dragon Bridge, which was the pit stop for this leg of the race.
At one point, it was revealed that Garrett and Joel had to waste more time to go back and retrieve their notebook. Greg and John arrived at the pit stop in first place and won a trip for two to Africa from Expedia.
Todd and Ashlie took second place. Rob and Corey came in 3rd place. Garrett and Joel claimed the 4th spot. Robbin and Chelsea took 5th place. Steve and Anna Leigh were able to get the very important 6th spot to narrowly avoid being last. That means poor Morgan and Lena got last place and were indeed eliminated because of it. They told the private cameras, “We wanted to spend time as sisters and work through our differences, and that’s exactly what we did. So, that’s a win for us. This was an amazing experience.”
