Survivor November 15, 2023 Voted Off Kellie Nalbandian (Recap)
Hey, “Survivor” fans. Tonight, November 15,2023, another new episode of Survivor’s current season 45 hit the air, and another unlucky contestant did get voted off via a very severe blindside. I mean this one really came out of left field. Tonight’s new episode kicked off with some conversation footage after the last tribal council meetings, which sent Sifu and Kaleb packing.
Drew told the private cams that he really wants to get Bruce out of this game. Jake told the private cams, “I wanted Kaleb here. I trusted him. I didn’t wanna dogpile on Kaleb. That’s not a move. That’s following the herd.”
Jake mentioned that he knew he was in trouble for going against the plan to get rid of Kaleb. He was particularly in hot water with Julie who he tried to vote out. He tried to do a little bit of damage control with Julie, but it wasn’t successful as Julie told the private cams, “There’s no way I’ll ever work with Jake. There’s no way I can trust him. He scares me.”
Kellie told the private cams, “Bruce has been dragging my game down this entire time. So, if the girls want to help me get him out, that’s wonderful.” After all of that, they were all given notice that they were about to participate in a Survivor food auction. However, they had to collect some cash in order to bid on the food items. In order to do so, they had to go searching for bamboo scrolls that were filled with money.
At the Survivor food auction, host Jeff Probst told them whoever has the most money left at the end of the auction loses their vote at the next tribal council meeting. Bruce ended up with the most amount of money at the end of the auction because he never collected enough initial cash to outbid anyone. So, Bruce lost his vote at the next tribal council meeting. However, he did mention that he has an immunity idol to protect himself.
At one point, Emily was seen telling Drew, “I wanna work with you, and I want to warn you that there’s an all-girls alliance forming.” Drew told the private cams, “This is great news because everyone seems to want Bruce out. Katura pitched Bruce’s name as target to Drew, Austin and Julie, and they all absolutely agreed to it.
After all of that, host Jeff Probst showed up with new immunity challenge. It was a rope holding challenge that contained a bamboo stick that was 1/3rd of each of their body weight. Jeff offered them rice if 4 people sat out. Dee, Emily, Drew and Katura agreed to sit out. Bruce ended up winning the challenge to foil all the plans to get him out,
Jake’s name came up as a possible target. Jake knew it. So, he went looking for an idol. Jake also asked Bruce if he’ll play his idol on him. Bruce said, “Maybe.” Meanwhile, Drew pitched Kellie’s name out there as a possible target, but most people said they still wanted to get Jake out.
At the tribal council meeting, Jake tried to pitch, “If everyone is going to dogpile on me with the votes, someone is making the wrong move.” Jake played his shot in the dark for a 1 out of 6 chance at safety. Jeff drew the “Not Safe” card. So, Jake was still able to be voted off. He also lost his vote.
When the votes were read, Jake received 3 votes, and Kellie got 5 votes. So, with the whopping 5 votes, Kellie was voted off, and she was very blindsided by the whole thing saying, “What the hell, guys? Alright, I respect it. I’m just really shocked.”
Kellie told the private cams, “This one burns. I’m not gonna lie. I had a bad gut feeling. I did everything I could to put myself in a good position, but I was just one step too slow. I’m honored to have had the opportunity to play Survivor.” How do you guys feel about Kellie Nalbandian getting voted off Survivor in tonight’s episode? Let us know in the comments section.
