The Bachelor February 12, 2024 Eliminated Sydney Gordon (Recap)
Hey, Bachelor Nation fans. Tonight, February 12, 2024 another new episode of The Bachelor 2024 edition with headliner Joey Graziadei hit the air, and we saw another woman get sent packing before it all wrapped up. Tonight’s new episode kicked off with the women talking about the Sydney and Maria drama.
Then, host Jesse Palmer showed up to tell them they’re going overseas to Malta to meet up with Joey. When they got there, Joey took Lexi out on a 1 on 1 date. During it, Joey took her to get some food. They also played some games and did some dancing.
Joey told the private cams, “I feel very safe with Lexi.” Lexi told the private cams, “Joey makes me feel amazing, and I haven’t felt that way in a long time.” Joey told the private cams, “Lexi is someone I can see a future with.”
Joey also took Alexa to a giant church, and they talked with a priest about marriage-related topics. During the second half of their date. They talked some more. She told him she had stage 5 endometriosis, and she might not be able to have kids, and her ex decided not be with her because of it.
Joey told her, “I’m sorry to hear that. I can only imagine how difficult that was. I want you to know that is something that would not make me run away. You’re very special. Nothing is wrong with you.” Lexi said, “Thank you. I appreciate you so much,” and they kissed.
Lexi told the private cams, “I feel something I’ve never felt before with Joey. I’m very excited.” Joey gave her a rose, and they kissed again. Lexi told the private cams, “I feel like I could totally go into a marriage with Joey. I’m falling for him. I really am.”
At one point, we got more of lying Sydney telling the private cams, “Maria is affecting my health, and I’m going to make sure Joey knows that Maria is the problem.”
After that, we got footage of Joey’s group date outing with: Jenn, Daisy, Edwina, Katelyn, Allison, Rachel, Autumn, Kelsey T., Jess, Madina, Lea and Kelsey A. During it, they did some medieval challenges. Autumn was named the winner. So, she got to spend more alone time with Joey. During it, they took a walk and kissed.
At the afterparty, Joey talked with Daisy. They talked about how many kids they want and so on and so forth. Joey told the private cams, “I’m really picturing a family with Daisy.” Joey talked with Kelsey A. He told her, ” I was focusing on you the entire time,” and they kissed.
Joey talked with Rachel. They talked about how they both have prescription glasses. Joey talked with Jess. She told him, “I can feel myself really falling for you. This just feels so right. I can’t wait to see where this goes,” and they kissed. At the end, Joey gave Kelsey T the group date rose.
Next up, was Maria and Sydney’s dreaded 2 on 1 date with Joey. Sydney told the private cams, “I’ve gotta get this girl out here. She’s like the Devil.” Joey told the private cams, “I want to get some more clarity from this date. There’s something going on, and I don’t understand it. I need answers.”
Joey took Maria and Sydney the to the Blue Grada. He talked 1 on 1 with Sydney first. She told him, “I’ve been really scared the entire week. Maria started attacking me after the pool party. She’s repeatedly been disrespectful to me and others. She told Lea to shut the f%^k up. She’s not someone you want in your life.” These were all more lies of course.
Joey talked with Maria. She told him, “I’m here to further what we have going on. I actually left all that drama with Sydney behind in Los Angeles. I never told Lea to shut the f%&k up.” Maria told the private cams, “Sydney is a liar, and I’m over it.” Maria and Sydney argued some more before the second half of their 2 on 1 date.
During the second half, Joey told the private cams, “I’m just looking for the one I have the strongest connection with because I don’t think I will get the actual truth.” Joey asked both Maria and Sydney if they think they have a future with him. They both separately said yes. Afterwards, Joey told Sydney, “I’m sorry, but I cannot give you this rose.” Then, he walked her out and told her, “I just had to go with my gut and what I was feeling.” He gave her a hug goodbye.
Joey told Maria, “I appreciate the realness of your answer. All you’ve been with me is real.” Then, he gave her a rose,” and they kissed. Maria told the private cams, “This rose means everything.” Joey told the private cams, “I gave Maria a rose because she makes me feel good and happy when I’m around her. I can see a future with Maria.”
During the cocktail party, Joey talked with Jenn. She told him, “I feel safe and valued with you. I really do trust you,” and they kissed.
Joey talked with Katelyn. She said, “I feel like I can open myself up to you.” Joey talked with Madina. She gave Joey a present, and she told him how her parents got a divorce when she was younger, and it made her have a hard time opening up and trusting people. Joey said, “I love and appreciate you sharing all that with me.”.
Lea pulled Madina aside to ask her why she’s being nice to Maria after Sydney left. Madina got mad and told her, “I don’t think you should judge how I handle myself in the house. I’m just trying to navigate this experience the best way I can.”
Maria told Madina, “It sucks that you’re getting treated badly for being nice too me.” Then, Maria ran off and started crying about all the drama. Lea told the private cams, “Maria is just a drama queen.” Then, Lea basically took over Sydney’s spot by approaching Joey and feeding him negative lies about Maria. At this point, we got the “To Be Continued” sign. So, we’ll see how this drama continues to play out in tomorrow’s new, February 13, 2024 episode.
