The Bachelorette July 25, 2022 Eliminated Meatball Aka James, Termayne, Alec & Jacob (Recap)

Hey, Bachelor Nation fans. Tonight, July 25, 2022, another new episode of The Bachelorette 2022 edition with headliners Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey did indeed air. A new twist was introduced and more guys were sent packing by the end of it.

Tonight’s episode kicked off with Gabby and Rachel talking about how they want to know who the guys are leaning towards getting to know better.

Shortly after that, Zach and Rachel went on their 1 on 1 date. During it, they were greeted by TV host Karamo Brown. At one point, Zach told Rachel, “I felt something with you when we first met.” Rachel really like that and so did Karamo.

Karamo ended up taking them to try on different red carpet outfits. Then, they walked the red carpet for a movie premiere that featured videos of Rachel and Zach’s past. They kissed on the red carpet. They got very emotional while watching their memories, and they kissed again.

At one point, Zach mentioned to Rachel about how he used to watch planes take off with his dad when he was young. Rachel said, “I used to do that too!” Rachel found that to be very amazing, and they kissed again. Zach told the private cams, “I think Rachel could be my future wife. I’m falling for her really hard.” Rachel gave Zach a rose, and they kissed and danced.”

Elsewhere, Gabby visited the guys, and she didn’t think that was a very good visit. She told the private cams, “I’m upset that the guys aren’t really being forward with me or showing initiative. I’m giving so much to them, and they aren’t giving anything back. I’m hurt.”

Next, we got footage of Gabby and Erich’s 1 on 1 date. Gabby’s grandpa John showed up to join them. During the date, they all went and got a sound bath. Then, they went bowling. At one point, Gabby and Erich kissed and appeared to have a lot of fun.

During the second half of Gabby and Erich’s date, they talked about their childhood experience with their parents. Gabby revealed that she and her mother are estranged, and she got really emotional about it to the point that she had to get up and walk away for a few minutes.

During those few minutes, Gabby told the producers,”It hurts to have a mother that doesn’t love you. I might be too broken for anyone too love.” Gabby told the private cams,”The pressure of being the Bachelorette really hit me tonight.”

Gabby finally came back and told Erich all about her issues and explained how she’s a very emotional person, but she also likes to have fun. There’s lots of different sides. Erich told Gabby, “I’m here to see where this goes, and I want you to be honest.” Then, they kissed.

Gabby gave Erich a rose, and they kissed again. Gabby told the private cams, “This was one of the best dates I’ve had so far. Erich really let me be myself. I would do anything to be loved by someone like Erich.”

Next up, we got some group date footage. It was the largest group date in Bachelor Nation history. During it, the guys met up with Gabby and Rachel at a palace out in Pasadena. Legendary photographer Franco Lacosta showed up to do a photo shoot of the ladies with the guys.

The guys had to put on special, odd wardrobes for this photo shoot. One of the guys was wearing diapers. One guy had a hospital patient outfit on. This definitely was a comical photo shoot. Jacob was wearing nothing but a leaf to pose with Gabby. At one point, Nate said some wonderful words to Gabby, and they kissed. Gabby told the private cams, “The guys are starting to show more initiative, and that gives me so much hope.”

During the second half of the group date, Rachel talked with Aven, and they kissed. They also played football together and kissed on the football field. Rachel talked with Jordan, and they kissed. Rachel talked with Tino, and they kissed. Tyler told Rachel, “I’m here for you,” and they kissed. Hayden told Rachel, “You’re more of my type,” and they kissed.

Gabby talked with Tyler. He told her in a very nice way that he really wants to get to know Rachel more. Gabby said, “You should tell her.” Gabby talked with Hayden. He also told Gabby that he prefers Rachel. He mentioned to Gabby that she’s rough around the edges. Gabby told the private cams, “That hurt.”

Jacob told Gabby that he also prefers Rachel. He said even if Gabby was the only one there, he would still have to leave.” So, that really hurt Gabby as well. However, she put on a happy face for the guys that rejected her.

At the end of this group date, Rachel gave Aven a group date rose. However, Gabby was so upset by some of the comments the guys gave her when they rejected her that she said, “I feel like I can’t give out a rose tonight.” Afterwards, Gabby told Rachel all about the guys who rejected her, especially Jacob’s comment about leaving even if she was the only one there. Rachel didn’t think that was ok at all.

After all of that, host Jesse Palmer told the guys that Gabby and Rachel canceled the cocktail party, and they have decided to continue on their journeys separately. He explained, “If you accept a rose from Gabby or Rachel, you have to commit to dating that one person only.”

At the rose ceremony, Rachel gave Tino, Logan,Tyler, Ethan, Jordan and Hayden a rose. Rachel tried to give Termayne, Alec and Meatball aka James a rose, but they nicely rejected it saying they have a deeper connection with Gabby and that they’re here for Gabby. So, they went back in line to see if Gabby would give them a rose.

Gabby ended up giving Nate, Johnny, Spencer, Jason, Mario, Kirk, Quincey and Michael a rose. Afterwards, Rachel told Gabby and the private cams, “I feel so embarrassed and humiliated. Your rejection happened in private. Mine was in front of everyone.”

Meatball aka James, Termayne, Alec, and Jacob did not receive a rose from Gabby. So, they all got eliminated in this episode. However, Meatball aka James actually came back and told Rachel, “I think I made a mistake. I just didn’t have a lot of time to talk with you. Can I have another shot?” And it cut out right there. We got the “To Be Continued” message. So, we’re going to have to wait until next week to see if Meatball gets another shot with Rachel after rejecting her. It should be interesting.

I don’t know who’s idea it was to have two women on this show, but I hope you’re realizing that it was a huge mistake. These girls were both on The Bachelor and they spent a lot of time crying and they’re doing it now too. It really gets old. They should have known that, by having two girls there, one or both of them was going to be rejected at some time or another. They need to grow up and learn how to take that rejection instead of constantly breaking down, or go home.
