The Amazing Race April 24, 2024 Eliminated Sunny & Bizzy (Recap)
Hey, “The Amazing Race” fans. Tonight, April 24, 2024, another new episode of The Amazing Race’s current season 36 did indeed hit the air, and we saw another unlucky team get ousted at the end for being too slow to the finish line.
Tonight’s new episode kicked off with the remaining teams starting off in Montevideo, Uruguay. Their first clue told them they had to head out to Puerto Logístico Punta de Sayago. When they got there, they got hit with a Roadblock challenge. During it, one of the team members had to weld two pieces of metal together. If the pieces held together after being hit with a hammer, they got their next clue.
Once the teams successfully wrapped up the Roadblock challenge, they were directed to head out to Ciudad Vieja to get their next clue. Once they got their next clue, they were hit with their detour challenges. They got to pick either the “Candombe” or “Murga” detour.
In the “Candombe” detour, the teams had to learn and correctly perform a candombe drum routine to get their next clue. In the “Murga” detour, the teams had to learn and correctly sing a murga song to get their next clue.
After the teams successfully completed their detour challenges, they were told to go to the Playa Malvin, which was the pit stop for this leg of the race. Ricky & Cesar arrived in first place, and won a trip for two to Paris, France from Expedia.
Angie & Danny took second place. Rod & Leticia claimed the 3rd spot. Amber & Vinny came in 4th place. Yvonne & Melissa took 5th place. Juan & Shane came in the very important 6th spot to just narrowly avoid elimination. That means poor Sunny & Bizzy did show up last and were eliminated. How do you guys feel about that?
