In tonight’s new episode 31, the 60 Minutes team is going to present a new set of three segments. The first segment is titled, “LEADER JEFFRIES.” CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “Norah O’Donnell profiles Congressman Hakeem Jeffries, the Democratic leader in the U.S. House of Representatives, who might become the first-ever Black Speaker of the House, tracing his Brooklyn roots to one of the most powerful positions in American politics.

O’Donnell meets Jeffries on Capitol Hill to talk about his caucus’ decision to save current Speaker Mike Johnson’s job, his views on Israel’s approach to Hamas and the civilian casualties in Gaza, the migrant crisis and how the debate over reproductive rights will impact the race for the White House and Congress.”

The second segment is titled, “WORK TO OWN.” CBS’ description for it reads like this, “As the American wealth gap continues to widen, correspondent Jon Wertheim reports on an unlikely effort to get more money in the hands of rank-and-file workers. Pete Stavros is an executive at one of the biggest private equity firms in the country, KKR.

Wertheim travels to rural Illinois to find out how this model has impacted workers, and whether it’s good for business.”

The 3rd and last segment for this new episode 31 is titled, “ST. MARY’S.” CBS’ description for it reads like this, “Correspondent Bill Whitaker visits New Orleans, where two high school seniors solved a mathematical puzzle that was thought to be impossible for 2,000 years.
