48 Hours August 24, 2024 Episode Not New. It’s A Repeat. Preview Revealed
Hey, “48 Hours” fans. We’re back at you to let you know that CBS will get back to airing repeat episodes of 48 hours tonight, August 24, 2024 after preempting it last week. Also, as a reminder, the new season 38 of 48 Hours is set to debut on September 21, 2024. So, brand new episodes will start back up on that very important date.
In the meantime, we do have some preview information for tonight’s repeat episode via CBS’ official press release for it. Tonight’s repeat episode is officially titled, “Andreen McDonald: A Millionaire Vanishes.” It was the 11th installment of last season 37. It originally aired way back on December 9, 2023.
In tonight’s repeat episode, the 48 Hours team took a deep look at a story about a woman named Andreen McDonald. She was a millionaire business owner before she vanished off the face of the Earth back in March of 2019. American news reporter Peter Van Sant handled the reporting duties for this episode and case.
CBS’ official description for this repeat episode of 48 Hours reads like this, “Millionaire business owner Andreen McDonald was known for her strict workout regimen. When she didn’t show up for work on the morning of March 1, 2019, her employees called the gym, which was her usual first stop in her morning routine.
They found out she never showed up there either, which raised red flags. What happened to the businesswoman, wife and mother? Correspondent Peter Van Sant reports in an encore of 48 HOURS: “Andreen McDonald: A Millionaire Vanishes”
An alternate description tells us, “When the husband of a woman who turned her assisted living business into a million-dollar company vanishes, he is charged with her murder. His unusual self-defense claim raises concern.”
Again, CBS confirmed that 48 Hours is hitting the air with another repeat episode of 48 Hours tonight, August 24, 2024 in the 9 pm central standard time slot. It will also be available for streaming on Paramount+.
