New 60 Minutes March 2 Episode To Feature Scandalous Death Flights, Ukraine & More
CBS is confirmed to air another new episode of their hit news show 60 Minutes tonight, March 2, 2025, and it’s going to feature a look at some very scandalous death flights that killed many innocent citizens over in Argentina back in the 1970s.
This episode will also take a look at how president Donald Trump is handling the Ukraine and Russia situation and more. This new episode is the 23rd installment for this current season 57.
According to CBS’ official episode 23 press release, this episode will feature a total of 2, new segments.
The first segment is officially titled, “UKRAINE-US.” CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “During his campaign, President Donald Trump promised to bring peace to Ukraine. That hasn’t happened yet. However, he has changed how the United States deals with Russia.
Correspondent Scott Pelley travels to Washington, D.C. to speak with members of Congress who argue America should not abandon Ukraine. Henry Schuster and Sarah Turcotte are the producers.”
The second and final segment for this new episode 23 is titled, “DEATH FLIGHTS.” CBS’ description for it reads like this, “60 MINUTES reports on how the flight logs found in a plane in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. uncovered Argentina’s notorious death flights during its dictatorship in the mid-1970s – serving as key evidence of that country’s lethal scheme that “disappeared” thousands of innocent citizens who they viewed as a threat.
Correspondent Jon Wertheim revisits this dark and traumatic period in Argentine history, meeting the pair of investigators who discovered the plane, and families of the victims who were thrown to their deaths. This is a double-length segment. Michael Gavshon is the producer.”
Again, CBS’ press release confirmed that the next, new episode 23 of 60 minutes’ current season 57 is scheduled to hit the air tonight, March 2, 2025 in the 6 pm central standard time slot. It will also be available for streaming on Paramount+.
