The Amazing Race March 26 Eliminated Bernie & Carrigain (Recap)
Earlier tonight, March 26, 2025, CBS aired another new episode for The Amazing Race’s current season 37, and another unlucky team did get sent packing at the end of it.
Tonight’s new episode kicked off with the remaining teams, learning they had to fly out to Bali, Indonesia to start up this leg of the race. It was revealed that one of the team would get to win a Driver’s Seat advantage at some point.
Once they got to Bali, they took a taxi to their next location. When they got there, they were told they had to drive an ATV through a jungle and cave until they arrive at a waterfall to get their first clue.
When they got it, they were told to go to Tampaksiring. When they got there, they got hit with a Roadblock challenge. It required one of the team members to thresh pounds of rice to get their next clue.
Jonathan & Ana won the Driver’s Seat advantage during this challenge. It gave them the option to pick how many pounds of rice each team had to thresh to get their clue. They assigned 25 pounds to Alyssa & Josiah, Nick & Mike, Bernie & Carrigain, Pops & Jeff, and Scott & Lori.
They gave 20 pounds to Mark & Brett, Carson & Jack, and Han & Holden. They ,of course, gave themselves only 15 pounds along with Melinda & Erika and Bernie & Carrigain. However, Jonathan and Ana decided to go ahead and use their Express Pass to just skip this challenge. Their next clue told them to go to the Penglipuran Village.
When they got there, they got hit with their detour challenges. They got to pick either the “Penjor” detour, or the “Pajegan” detour.
In the “Penjor” detour, the teams had to correctly decorate a bamboo pole adorned with leaves, flowers, and offerings. Then, take it to a stand for display to get their next clue.
In the “Pajegan” detour, the teams had to purchase offerings in the village and display it on a stand to get their next clue.
After the teams successfully completed their detour challenges, they were told to go to the Pura Dalem Pelapuran, Penglipuran, which was the pit stop for this leg of the race.
Jonathan & Ana arrive made it to the Pit Stop first and won a trip to Croatia and Montenegro. Carson & Jack took second place. Scott & Lori claimed 3rd place. Melinda & Erika took the 4th spot. Alyssa & Josiah came in 5th place.
Han & Holden arrived in 6th place. Brett & Mark came in 7th place. Nick & Mike took 8th place. Pops & Jeff snagged the very important 9th spot to just narrowly escape elimination. Bernie & Carrigain did show up last. So, they were eliminated.
