NCIS Abby Sciuto star Pauley Perette Is Reportedly Very Frightened At The Moment
According to a recent report from the folks over at E! Online and other media outlets, the NCIS Abby Siuto star Pauley Perette (above) is pretty fearful right now in real life! Apparently, she found out that a homeless man who attacked her back in November 2015 has just been set free from a state psychiatric institute.
The homeless guy’s name is David Merck. Aside from being concerned with her own safety, Pauley is concerned that this guy could hurt someone else. She told the Fox 11 Los Angeles news team, “It changed my life forever. I don’t walk outside my house. I think it’s entirely possible that the next word I hear about this guy is that he’ll kill a female.”
In E!Online’s article, they revealed that Pauley described her altercation with this homeless guy in great detail on her official Twitter account in 2015. She wrote, “I was walking across my street to a new guest house I bought to meet my architect on my street. I was jumped by a VERY psychotic homeless man. He grabbed me so forcefully, pinned my arm, punched me in the nose, forehead repeatedly telling me he was going to kill me. Then he showed me how he was going to kill me.”
Afterwards, the homeless guy was charged with felony criminal threats and imprisonment by violence for allegedly attacking Pauley. He pled not guilty at his arraignment and was found incompetent to stand trial on the charges. In light of this, the court ordered David to be sent to Patton State Hospital.
E! Online’s article went on to explain that Pauley later wrote an advice piece for a publication named, “Motto.” In this article, Pauley revealed that she actually felt very sorry for her attacker because she could see that he was clearly in need of help. He apparently didn’t know she was or who he even was at the time!
Pauley wrote, “My heart broke for him. My tears that night were for him. I had looked into his eyes. There was nothing there. It seemed like his soul and his humanity were gone. He was out on the street without resources. It was a consequence of our failure as a society to take care of our mentally ill and impaired homeless community. Of course I forgive him. I have no anger, only sadness. He didn’t know who I was. He didn’t know who he was. He is very confused. He’s homeless and he needs help.”
As of right now, it’s reported that the Los Angeles Police Department is very aware that Pauley’s attacker is back out on the streets ,and they will respond to any criminal calls concerning this man.
In related news, Pauley is still set to leave NCIS after being on the show since way back in 2003. There was much speculation about why she is departing, but Pauley shot those rumors down shortly after she made her announcement back in late 2017. It’s currently not clear why she’s leaving. According to her IMDB page, she doesn’t appear to have any future acting gigs lined up at the moment, but that could change at anytime.
In the next, new NCIS episode 18, there’s a moment in the preview clip where Pauley’s character Abby appears to be dead. We don’t know if that was just a tease or not. However, if she really is dead, that would obviously be her exit. It’s currently not clear exactly how they will write off Abby’s character, but you fans should expect to see some sort of exit from her soon. This current season 15 only got a 20 episode order from CBS. That means there’s only three more episodes left to go.
CBS hasn’t officially renewed the show for a brand new season 16 yet. However, we are hearing from multiple sources that it’s a pretty safe bet they will. So, that’s very good news. We plan to do a whole new post on the ratings for this season which will give us better insight into that. So, be on the lookout for it.
The next, new episode 18 is currently scheduled to air this coming Tuesday night, March 27, 2018 at approximately 7 pm central standard time on CBS. CBS skipped showing a new episode this past Tuesday night, March 20, 2018 for some unknown reason.
You guys should expect to see more Tuesday skips coming up though as we near the end of the season. There’s a few more skipped weeks scheduled after this March 27, 2018 episode. We’re going to do a whole post on that to give you guys the full details. So, be on the lookout for that and stay tuned. I’ve read the post with terrific satisfaction and even could understand something brand
new that I will use for my additional requirements.
