New ‘Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists’ Spin Off Might Bring Back Two More Major Characters
Hey, “Pretty Little Liars” fans. We’ve got some great news for you guys concerning the new Pretty Little liars spin-off show “The Perfectionists.” It turns out that we might be seeing the appearance of two other major stars/characters from the Pretty Little Liars cast! We already know that stars Sasha Pieterse aka Alison DiLaurentis and Janel Parrish aka Mona Venderwaal have joined the cast.
Now, according to a recent report from the folks over at
Entertainment Tonight , we might be seeing some appearances from Aria Montgomery portrayer Lucy Hale and Spencer Hastings portrayer Troian Bellisario! That’s right guys. Sofia Carson who will playing one of the lead roles in the Perfectionists mentioned to Entertainment Tonight that Troian and Lucy might appear on the show.
She told them, “I’ve heard Troian Bellisario, and I’ve heard Lucy Hale. So, hopefully they’ll be involved. As much as they would want to, we will have them.” They also asked Carson if Lucy and Troian’s participation would be onscreen or offscreen? Carson replied with, “Hopefully both!”
Entertainment Tonight went on to explain that they’ve actually talked to Lucy and Troian about possibly showing up on the Perfectionists, and they’re definitely down to do it. Lucy told Entertainment Tonight that she would love to reprise her Aria role because she’s “very curious” to see how these two worlds will collide.
Meanwhile, Troian is actually in talks to direct at least one of the episodes. Troian told them, “They were like, ‘You should come direct an episode!’ And I thought that would be so much fun!”
We know Lucy would definitely like to join considering her new CW show “Life Sentence” just unfortunately got canceled after just thirteen episodes of season one. That means Lucy is currently looking for employment, and what better than her old Pretty Little Liars stomping grounds?
As for the new “Perfectionists” show, Sofia Carson will be playing a new character named Ava who is a beautiful, trendsetting blogger and coder who strives to be a fashion icon. Sofia talked about filming the pilot episode for it. She stated, “Everything about it was so surreal. It was such a dream. I’m so honored to be a part of it ,and to work with Pretty Little Liars executive producer Marlene King. It’s such a female-centered story which I love so much. So, there are tons of secrets as you can imagine that I can’t tell you about yet.”
Sofia also dished some major selling points for the “Perfectionists” saying, “It is dramatic, it’s dark, it’s mysterious, it’s romantic and full of secrets as the PLL world goes. There’s a sensation of being constantly watched as well like there was in PLL. So, there’s the same essence of the story. I’m hoping they’ll love it. The reaction has been so amazing so far. It was so overwhelming when it was announced that I was cast. So, I hope they love it as much as we do. We’re pouring our hearts into it. So, we’re really excited.”
Currently, Freeform has not officially announced that they will pick up the “Perfectionists” as a regular series yet, but it’s highly likely they will given all the success that “Pretty Little Liars” brought to the network.
We’re expecting new details to come out in the coming weeks and months. So, stay tuned. Also, be sure to follow us on our “Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists” Facebook page for more Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists news by Clicking Here.
