New Prodigal Son Spoilers For Season 2, January 19, 2021 Episode 2 Revealed
Hey, “Prodigal Son” fans. Welcome to the brand new season 2! It finally arrived after the horrible pandemic delayed it. We hope you guys totally enjoyed the premiere episode 1` tonight. Now that it has come and gone, we are back in action to let you know how the next, new episode 2 is going to play out for the most part. It’s due to hit the air next Tuesday night, January 19, 2021.
The wonderful people over at FOX delivered quite a few, new teaser descriptions for episode 2 via their episode 2 press release. So, we’re going to tell you what they have to say right now. Let’s do it.
First off, FOX revealed what the official title for episode 2 is. It’s called, “Speak Of The Devil.”
It sounds like episode 2 will feature some very interesting, intense, dramatic and possible emotional scenes as a priest is found murdered! Martin tries to help with the case. Ainsley gets very worried. Dani, Gil and Malcolm rally behind JT and more.
We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the murdered priest situation. It turns out that some poor priest will lose his life to a vicious killer in this episode. This terrible event will cause Bright to wrestle with the effect it has on his own trauma.
FOX’s official description for this murdered priest scenario tells us,”When a priest is found murdered in his place of worship, Bright grapples with its effect on his own trauma.”
An alternate description reads like this, “A CASE INVOLVING AN EXORCISM RATTLES MALCOLM’S CONSCIENCE.”
The second spoiler scoop reveals that Martin will certainly be in the spotlight in this episode. He will be trying to help out with the case. In his efforts to do so, he will contact a man named Friar Pete. Eventually, it will turn out that Friar is hiding some secrets, and Martin is going to find out about it.
FOX’s description for this Martin and Friar Pete plotline reads like this, “Martin, trying to help with the case, consults his fellow inmate, Friar Pete (guest star Christian Borle), whom he learns is keeping a secret of his own.”
The 3rd spoiler teaser reveals that Ainsley will not be feeling so great about Jessica in this episode as she will be quite worried that Jessica is hiding something from her in regards to her relationship with Gil.
FOX’s description for this latest Ainsley storyline reads like this, “Ainsley grows worried that Jessica is keeping something from her regarding her relationship with Gil.”
The 4th and last teaser description lets us know that Dani, Gil and Malcolm will be involved in some highly intense activities in this episode as they will start rallying to get JT to talk to his union rep about all the discrimination he’s been encountering.
FOX’s description for this Dani, Gil, Malcolm and JT scenario reads like this, “Dani, Gil and Malcolm rally behind JT, urging him to speak to his union rep about the discrimination he’s been facing.”
Episode 2 will feature a couple of guest stars. They are: Esau Pritchett as character Mr. David; Damian Young as character Jonah Shaw; Michael Potts as character Dr. Brandon Marsh; Armando Acevedo as character Hector; Adam Langdon as character Norman Goode; Melissa Van Der Schyff as character Mrs. Goode.
The season regulars that will be featured in episode 2 are: Tom Payne as character Malcolm Bright; Michael Sheen as character Dr. Martin Whitly; Bellamy Young as character Jessica Whitly; Lou Diamond Phillips as character Gil Arroyo; Aurora Perrineau as character Dani Powell; Frank Harts as character JT Tarmel; Halston Sage as character Ainsley Whitly and Keiko Agena as character Dr. Edrisa Tanaka.
FOX’s press release confirmed that the next, new episode 2 of Prodigal Son’s current season 2 is indeed scheduled to air next Tuesday night, January 19, 2021 at approximately 8 pm central standard time.
