Yellowstone Season 4, January 2, 2022 Episode 10 Is The Finale. Season 5 Not Yet Confirmed
Hey, “Yellowstone” fans. We’ve got some pretty bad news for you guys in this article. However, we also do have some optimistic news too. We’ll start with the bad news. We hope you guys totally savored episode 10 tonight, because it’s going to be the last one possibly forever! That’s right, guys. Tonight’s episode 10 was indeed the Yellowstone, season 4 finale episode.
Adding to this bad news is that Paramount Plus has yet to reveal if a new season 5 will ever happen. We’re still waiting to get an official word from Paramount Plus on whether or not they’re going to order up another, new season 5 of Yellowstone.
Now for that optimistic news we promised. We did have a chance to look at the LIVE viewership and ratings that Yellowstone put up for this most recent season 4, and we must say that it was nothing less than impressive, especially when you consider that Yellowstone is just a streaming show. It doesn’t air on any of the big 4 networks like ABC, NBC, CBS or FOX.
Here’s what season 4 of Yellowstone did. It managed to draw in an average of 7.673 million LIVE viewers per episode, and a 1.40 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The most recent episode 9, which aired last Sunday night, December 26, 2021, drew in 7.475 million LIVE viewers, and a 1.26 ratings score.
The most-viewed episode was the premiere episode 1 with 8.383 million LIVE viewers. The least-viewed episode was episode 6 with 7.283 million LIVE viewers.
The highest-rated episode was episode 1 with a 1.62 ratings score. The lowest-rated episode was episode 9 with a 1.26 ratings score.
Those are definitely primetime network-like numbers. Judging by those numbers, we think it’s highly likely that Paramount Plus will renew this show for a brand new season 5. We would just be highly shocked if Paramount canceled this show that is clearly killing it in the numbers.
Unless there’s some big expense attached to this show that we don’t know about, it would seem pretty crazy if Paramount let this one go. So, we’ll see what the future holds. Just cross your fingers for now.
Alright, guys. That’s all we’ve got for this latest “Yellowstone” TV show report, but definitely stay tuned for more.
