New American Idol March 12, 2023 Episode Preview Revealed. Still Airing After Oscars
Hey,”American Idol” fans. We are back with another American Idol update for you guys. ABC will indeed be airing another new episode for you tonight, March 12, 2023. However, please note that it will not be airing in its usual, 7 pm central standard time slot tonight because ABC is going to be providing LIVE coverage of the 2023 Oscar Awards. That’s right, guys. Don’t for get to make special note of that.
ABC’s official description for their LIVE coverage of the 2023 Oscar Awards reads like this, “The Oscars
LIVE. Honors for achievements in film take place at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood; Rihanna, Sofia Carson, Diane Warren, David Byrne, Stephanie Hsu and Son Lux perform.”
American Idol’s new, March 12, 2023 episode 4 will be airing extremely late ,tonight, because the Oscar Awards is going to take up a whopping 3 hours of ABC’s primetime schedule. They’re going to be covering the Oscar awards from 7 pm to 10 pm central standard time. Then, according to the TV guide listings, ABC will finally air tonight’s new episode of American Idol in the 10:35 pm central standard time slot. So, again, please make a special mental note of that for tonight.
With all that said, we do have a new, brief preview of tonight’s new American Idol episode. ABC did serve up a new, official press release for tonight’s new , March 12, 2023 edition of American Idol. So, that’s what we’ll be working with for this preview session. Let’s get into it.
ABC’s March 12, 2023 episode press release is telling us that you guys will see more of the celebrity judges: Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie in action to judge some more audition rounds over in the New Orleans, Las Vegas and Nashville areas. They will be deciding who will make it to the next round.
Emmy Award winning host and producer Ryan Seacrest will, of course, be featured doing his very important hosting duties for the show. He will be seen pumping up these singing star hopefuls to get out there and give it their best shot along with consoling the ones that didn’t do well enough to make the cut. You guys know how it goes.

Again, American Idol is brand new again tonight, March 12, 2023, but it’s going to be airing super late after ABC’s LIVE 2023 Oscar Awards coverage in the 10:35 pm central standard time slot.
