MasterChef June 28 & July 5, 2023 Episodes Not New. They’re Repeats
Hey, “MasterChef” fans. Unfortunately, we’ve got some bad news for you in this article. For some unknown reason, the people over at FOX are not airing a new episode of MasterChef tonight, July 28, 2023 and next Wednesday night, July 5, 2023. That’s right, guys. FOX is going to make you wait another couple of weeks to see the next, new episode 6 of MasterChef’s current season 13.
According to FOX’s official episode 6 press release, FOX plans to finally air the new episode 6 on Wednesday night, July 12, 2023 in its usual,7 pm central standard time slot. So, definitely mark down that very important date and time on your TV show calendars.
In the meantime, FOX is airing something in MasterChef’s vacant time slot tonight and next Wednesday night. According to the TV guide listings, FOX is airing repeat episodes of MasterChef during this 2-week delay. Tonight, they’re going to re-air the first episode 1 of season 13 titled, “Regional Auditions — The Northeast.”
FOX’s official description for this repeat episode 1 of MasterChef season 13 reads like this,”Daphne Oz guest judges. Chefs from the Northeast prepare their signature dishes. Five home cooks receive a coveted white apron and move on in hopes of becoming the next MasterChef.”
Next Wednesday night, July 5, 2023, FOX is going to re-air the 2nd episode of this season 13 titled, “Regional Auditions — The Midwest.” FOX’s official description for it reads like this, “The auditions continue as chefs from the Midwest battle it out for a coveted spot in the top 20. Each contestant has 45 minutes to prepare a signature dish that impresses the judges to continue on in the competition.”
If any of you guys happened to have missed those particular repeat episodes of MasterChef, you might still want to flip on FOX tonight to check them out. If you did see those repeat episodes of MasterChef and have no desire to watch them again, you will certainly want to make some alternate plans for that FOX time slot during this two-week delay period.
We were able to track down an official, preview description for the next, new episode 6 of MasterChef’s current season 13 via FOX’s official episode 6 press release. It let us know that this new episode 6 is officially titled, “Apple Mystery Box.”
FOX’s official description for episode 6 reads like this, “The remaining home chefs are back in the kitchen with their first Mystery Box Challenge – apples! With both sweet and savory flavors on the table, the chef with immunity is tasked with assigning each region which kind of dish to cook in the all-new “Apple Mystery Box” episode of MasterChef: United Tastes of America.”
Again, FOX confirmed that the next, new episode 6 of MasterChef’s current season 13 is scheduled to finally arrive on your TV screens on Wednesday night, July 12, 2023, starting at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
