The Amazing Race November 29, 2023 Eliminated Todd & Ashlie (Recap)
Hey, “The Amazing Race” fans. Tonight, November 29, 2023, another new episode of The Amazing Race’s current season 35 did indeed hit the air, and another unlucky team did get sent packing for not quite being fast enough at the end. Tonight’s new episode kicked off with the teams learning they had to fly 1000 miles north to Stockholm, Sweden for the next leg of this race.
Once they got to Stockholm, Sweden, they had to take a taxi to their next location. Then, they had to board a plane and do a tandem skydiving with a professional one at a time to get their next clue. After their skydiving event, the teams were directed to go to the island of Tynningö to get their next clue.
Once they got there, they got hit with a Roadblock challenge. During it, one team member had to put together a flower wreath and properly attached it to a maypole to get their next clue. Corey and Rob used their Express Pass to skip this Road Block challenge.
After the teams successfully completed the Roadblock challenge, they were directed to go to the Royal Dramatic theater to get their next clue. When they got there, they had to search the auditorium for a violinist to get their next clue. After they did that, the teams had to travel by subway to Solna Centrum Station to get next clue. Once they got there, the teams were hit with their detour challenges. They could pick either the “Sort” detour or the “Serve” detour.
In the “Sort” detour, they had to go through a family’s trash and sort them into recycling stations to get their next clue. In the “Serve” detour, one team member had to be a server, and one team member had to be a runner. Once they got that sorted out, they had to correctly deliver three courses of a dinner menu based on past Nobel Prize Award banquets to get their next clue.
After the teams successfully finished up their detour challenges, they were directed to go to Pampas Marina to get their next clue. When they got there, they were directed to take a subway to the Strömparterren museum, which was the pit stop for this leg of the race.
Joel and Garrett arrived at the pit stop in first place and won a trip to the Galapagos Islands from Expedia. Greg and John took 2nd place. Corey and Rob claimed 3rd place. Steve and Anna Leigh took the very important 4th spot to narrowly avoid finishing last. So, poor Todd & Ashlie did finish last and got eliminated.
They told the private cams, “We gave it our all. I wouldn’t have it any other way. We truly put our blood, sweat and tears into this race. That’s all we can ask for.
