The Amazing Race March 20, 2024 Eliminated Chris & Mary (Recap)
Hey, “The Amazing Race” fans. Another new episode of The Amazing Race’s current season 36 did arrive tonight, and we saw another unlucky team bite the bullet at the end of it. Tonight’s new episode kicked off with the teams learning they had to go to the Iguana Bridge to get their next clue for the continuation of this megaleg.
Once the teams got to the Iguana Bridge, they got hit with some detour challenges. They got to choose to do either the Balloon Collection detour or the Color Collection detour.
In the Balloon Collection” detour, the teams had to collect six bunches of balloons from three different areas and deliver them to get their next clue. In the “Color Collection” detour, the teams had to search through strings of papel picado for one with an incorrect color pattern to get their next clue.
After successfully completing the detours, the teams had to go to Lázaro Cárdenas Park to get their next clue. When they got there, they got hit with a roadblock challenge. During it, one of the team members had to paint a Day of the Dead calavera design on their team member’s face to get their next clue. At some point, Sean & Michelle got lost trying to make it to the detours.
After the teams successfully completed the roadblock challenge, they were directed to hit up Casa Kimberly, which was the pit stop for this leg of the race. They had to travel by foot to get there while wearing monarch butterfly wings.
Rod & Leticia finished in first place, and won a trip for two to Lisbon, Portugal from Expedia. Ricky and Cesar took second place. Derek & Shelisa came in 3rd place. Juan & Shane claimed 4th place. Yvonne & Melissa came in 5th place. Angie & Danny finished in 6th place. Amber & Vinny took 7th place. Anthony & Bailey finished in 8th place.
Sunny & Bizzy took the 9th spot. Kishori & Karishma finished in 10th place. The 11th spot went to Sean & Michelle. That means poor Chris and Mary did get eliminated for showing up last.
