The Bachelor January 29, 2024 Eliminated Taylor, Erika, Marlena & Lauren Quit (Recap)
Hey, Bachelor Nation fans. Tonight, January 29, 2024, another new episode of The Bachelor 2024 edition with headliner Joey Graziadei did hit the air, and we saw another couple of women get eliminated. One of them even quit.
Tonight’s new episode kicked off with footage of Joey taking: Rachel, Erika, Evalin, Jess, Kelsey T., Lauren, Lexi, Maria, Rachel and Taylor out on a group date. During it, they tried on wedding dresses to go walk down the aisle with Joey. There was an audience there and everything. Lauren was upset about her dad passing away a couple of months ago. So, it was hard for her to have fun and really get into the group date.
Meanwhile, Joey mingled and talked with some of the women. Rachel won a first dance with Joey. They danced to Michael Bolton singing “When A Man Loves A Woman,” and they kissed at one point.
At the after party, Joey talked with Maria. They had a good conversation and kissed. Joey talked with Kelsey T, and they kissed. Joey talked with Jess. She told Joey, “You’ve made me feel a way that I haven’t felt in a long time. You’re amazing,” and they kissed. Joey told the private cams, “I’m very happy with the way things are going with Jess right now.”
Joey talked with Lauren. She told him she’s upset about her father passing away, and how he won’t get to be at her wedding day. Apparently, he passed away 7 months ago. Joey told Lauren, “I’m sorry to her about that,” and he gave her a hug. Joey told the private cams, “I’m glad to see Lauren open up today. That’s all I could ask for.” At the end, Joey gave Jess the group date rose.
Next, we got footage of Joey and Daisy’s 1 on 1 date. During it, they went on a helicopter ride to the Beach Life Ranch. At one point, they talked. She told him what she does for a living and so on and so forth. Then, they went to see the Bahamas band perform. They danced to their music and kissed.
On the second half of their date, Daisy and Joey talked. Daisy talked about her past, severe health problems and how she overcame them. She also told him about her hearing implant. Joey told her, “You wear it with pride, and this just makes you seem more interesting. I look forward to seeing where this goes. I’m impressed. There’s a lot that you’ve been through.” Then, they kissed, and he gave her a rose. Daisy told the private cams, “I’m excited to see where things go with Joey.”
After all of that, we got footage of another group date, which featured: Allison, Autumn, Chrissa, Edwina, Jenn, Katelyn, Kelsey A, Madina, Marlena, and Starr. Bachelor alums Demi Burnett and Jubilee Sharpe showed up to put the girls through a Bachelor boot camp. Then, they were separated into two teams to do a paintball battle.
Then, it was revealed that Edwina got a 1 on 1 date with Joey due to her performance in the group date outing. During it, Joey and Edwina talked over drinks. She told him about her upbringing. At one point, she cried when she was talking about it. Joey told the private cams that he was glad to see her be able to be vulnerable. Joey told her, “I’m excited about what’s in store for us, and I would like to get to know more.” Then, he gave her a rose, and they kissed. Edwina told the private cams, “Joey has so many things I want in a man.”
Next, we got a segment that featured Sydney starting to spread rumors about Maria talking bad about Madina’s age. Maria confronted Sydney about it and said she never said anything bad about Madina’s age. “I actually think Madina’s a beautiful 31 year old. I can’t even believe this escalated this far,” she said. Maria told the private cams, “I don’t trust Sydney. If she’s willing to start drama over something so stupid, there’s no telling what else she will do.”
At the cocktail party, Joey talked with Lexi. She made a funny drawing for him, and she told him she has such a crush on him. Joey reciprocated those feelings, and they kissed. Joey talked with Kelsey A, and they kissed. Joey told the private cams, “Kelsey A is someone I need to keep my eye on.”
Joey talked with Talyah. Joey talked with Evalin. She gave him a gift, and they hugged. Joey talked with Lauren. She told him I’m going to go home. Joey said, “I’m sorry that you’re going through this and maybe this wasn’t the best setting for us to get to know each other. I wish you nothing but the best.”
At the rose ceremony, Joey gave: Rachel, Lexi, Kelsey A., Kelsey T., Jenn, Evalin, Autumn, Madina, Lea, Katelyn, Chrissa, Maria, Starr, Allison, and Sydney a rose to join Edwina, Jess and Daisy who received roses earlier in this episode. That means poor: Taylor, Erika, and Marlena did not get a rose and made their exits to join Lauren who decided to quit at the cocktail party.
