‘Clash Of The Titans’ Movie Delivered Lots Of Action & Cool Special Effects
‘Clash Of The Titans’ movie delivered lots of action & cool special effects. Warner Bros. Pictures released it’s new “Clash Of The Titans” remake movie in theaters this weekend. I just saw the flick, and it was pretty damn good. It had a ton of neat special effects, and enough action, fighting scenes for anyone to handle. It stars: Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Danny Huston, Gemma Arterton, Mads Mikkelsen, Jason Flemyng, Alexa Davalos, Izabella Miko, Nicholas Hoult, and Pete Postlethwaite.
“Clash Of The Titans” revolved around character Perseus (Sam Worthington) who is the son Zeus (Liam Neeson). Perseus’ Earthly father gets killed by Hades (Ralph Fiennes) who is god of the underworld. From there on, Perseus was determined to get his revenge on Hades. Perseus eventually finds out that he’s really a demigod, and son Zeus. Zeus allows Hades to attack the humans because they have defied him. However, Hades has his own agenda, while Zeus thinks he’s serving him.
Perseus and his men eventually enter Medusa’s layer to chop off her head off in an effort to use it’s “turning anything to stone” power to destroy Hades’ huge beast and stop him from seizing power from Zeus. The movie contained a lot of action scenes, which included: battling huge insect looking beasts,a slithering sneaky Medusa who turned men in to stone at just a glance into her eyes, and a very powerful vengeful Hades.
I thought Sam Worthington did an excellent job of playing the intense Perseus character. I almost didn’t recognize Liam Neeson in his Zeus “getup,” but he did good as well. Overall, the movie just really delivered a lot of intense action and special effects all the way through. It hardly ever had a boring moment. It was very well done.
Grade: B+
