New ‘No Strings Attached’ Movie Brought Tons Of Laughs & Good Drama
New ‘No Strings Attached’ movie brought tons of laughs & good drama. Paramount Pictures released their crazy,new romantic/comedy flick “No Strings Attached,” and folks it was hysterical,delivering laugh, after laugh,after laugh.
I’m not usually a bg fan of romantic/comedy films,but I just knew this one was going to be good because of Ashton Kutcher and the nature of the premise. The movie stars: Ashton Kutcher, Natalie Portman, Greta Gerwig, Kevin Kline, Ophelia Lovibond, Ben Lawson, Chris Bridges, Olivia Thirlby, Jake M. Johnson, Lake Bell, Guy Brannum, and Cary Elwes.
“No Strings Attached” revolved around characters Emma (Natalie Portman) and Adam (Ashton Kutcher). Adam and Emma have known each other since high school,ever since Adam tried to cop a feel from Emma. Then the movie fast forwards to a college frat party where Adam and Emma see each other again since that weird high school night.
They exchange hellos,Adam weirdly tells her he likes her,and they end up hanging out for a little bit. Then they lose touch for another year,and see each other again,but under odd circumstances. Then it fast forwards a little bit to where Adam learns that his father has hooked up with his ex-girlfriend.
He ends up getting drunk as a result of it, and ends up at Emma’s place,passed out and naked on the sofa the next morning. It’s a really funny scene because all of her friends are there,sitting around him. After Emma tells him the crazy things he did while he was drunk, they kiss and have sex.
From there, Adam is basically hooked on her,but she just want to stay friends,special friends,friends with benefits. Adam,of course, agrees to the wild,non-emotional,sex-friendly, relationship. The movie shows them having sex everywhere. I mean just literally everywhere,and they’re not shy about it either. It’s just a really funny movie.
Everything seems to be going ok until Adam starts to show he cares for her,while she fights off her feelings. They bicker back and forth,continuing to have sex until Adam doesn’t want that type of relationship anymore. The film concludes with Emma realizing that she misses the hell out of him after being apart for so long.
However,she doesn’t get a warm reception when she tries to get back into his life,and thinks she may have lost him forever. She ends up having to do something she’s never done before to get him back. It was a real feel-good moment at the end. I thought the movie was fantastic. It was loaded with tons of laughs and one-liners.
Natalie Portman did really great,playing the emotionless female role. She showed a sense of humor I never knew she had. I really didn’t think she’d be as funny as she was. She had me cracking up. Of course, Ashton was hysterical in the movie. It also featured rapper Ludacris who delivered tear watering laughs to the movie.
It was just an overall very funny movie with some romance thrown in,but even the way that played out was funny. Oh, and there was also some nudity in the film. Ashton showed his butt and we also caught a glimpse of Natalie’s butt,but only for a split second. I gave the movie a grade A. “No Strings Attached” movie is in theaters now.
