Battle:Los Angeles Movie Delivered Tons Of Nonstop Action,Thrills & More
Battle:Los Angeles movie delivered tons of nonstop action, thrills & more. Columbia Pictures released their new action/thriller flick “Battle: Los Angeles” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out,and thought it was pretty good. It was filled with a lot of thrilling, action scenes as the aliens tried to invade and take over the city of Los Angeles. The movie stars: Aaron Eckhart, Michelle Rodriguez, Ramon Rodriguez, Bridget Moynahan, Ne-Yo,and Michael Pena.
“Battle:Los Angeles revolved around a group of army marines, assigned to go in an rescue a couple of civilians before plans to level or bomb the entire area were carried out. The reason for this,is that aliens, all of a sudden, came in with there fancy ships and weapons, and started attacking everyone in sight in an attempt to colonize the planet.
They killed a whole bunch of people, and the town was nearly empty with dead bodies all around by the time the marine crew made their way in for the save. They were immediately attacked when they arrived. However, they managed to avoid casualties after the initial hit. It’s the hits that came after that one, that did a lot of them in.
They managed to eventually find the civilians they were assigned to rescue, and had only a couple of hours to get out of town before the huge bombs dropped. Unfortunately,it wasn’t easy as they had to constantly avoid being shot at by the aliens with lazer-like beams and super bombs.
It was a constant hostile battlefield, but somehow, most of them managed to make it through. The main marine guy named SSgt. Michael Nantz (Aaron Eckhart) was very intuitive, and figured out how to kill the aliens that were on-foot.
Later on,he was able to figure out how to take out their flying drone ships with the help of tech sergeant Elena Santos (Michelle Rodriguez). The movie was filled with car chases, deadly flying space crafts, shootouts galore, huge explosions, and more. It ended with a very “edge of your seat” moment where they were finally able to take out the alien’s huge control center.
I thought the movie was pretty entertaining to watch. However, all the shooting and stuff got to be a bit old after a while. It just seemed a bit overdone to the point that I just really wanted them to wrap up things already. Other than that,it was good. It had lots of drama, action, and passion as people lost their loved ones, and were panicked. It was just very dramatic.
Also, it wasn’t really all that original. It sort of reminded me of that “Skyline” movie from late last year, accept with a better ending. I gave the movie a solid B grade. “Battle:Los Angeles” movie is in theaters now. Get your “Battle:Los Angeles” movie tickets by Clicking Here.
