‘Red Riding Hood’ Movie Delivered Crazy Drama,Intriguing Plot & More
‘Red Riding Hood’ movie delivered crazy drama, intriguing plot & more. Warner Bros. Pictures released their new fantasy/thriller flick “Red Riding Hood” into theaters this weekend. I just watched it,and I thought it was pretty damn good. It featured a lot of intense drama, passion, and violence with the big, bad, wolf. The movie stars: Amanda Seyfried, Gary Oldman, Billy Burke, Shiloh Fernandez, Max Irons, Virginia Madsen, and Julie Christie.
“Red Riding Hood” movie revolved around character Valerie (Amanda Seyfried) who’s in love with a boy named Peter (Shiloh Fernandez),but unfortunately her mother arranged for her to marry a guy named Henry (Max Irons) who she barely knows, because she thinks he can provide a better life for her.
The movie started off showing Valerie and Peter’s history together. Then it fast-forwarded ten years to the present. The film mostly focused on Valerie’s shaky love-life at first. However, once the big, bad, wolf came into town, and killed Valerie’s sister, all that nonsense got put on the back-burner as the town clearly wanted vengeance on the murdering wolf.
They brought in a werewolf hunter named Solomon (Gary Oldman). He warned them that the wolf could be anyone of them, and that if it bit anyone in the next three days, the curse would pass to that individual. Needless to say, the town was frightened, and the wolf attacked again. The interesting plotline was that Valerie could talk with the wolf and hear his words, while other people just heard him growling.
The wolf revealed that he would kill the whole town unless she went away with him. This information became known throughout the town, and eventually led to a huge, violent finale that included the wolf returning to kill more people,Solomon getting his hand bitten off, lots of fighting between Solomon’s men and other people in the town, and more.
When things finally settled down, the twist was revealed rather abruptly, but in dramatic fashion. It also left one gentlemen inflicted with the dreaded werewolf curse. I thought movie was fun to watch.
I was never bored with it,and found it to be a quite intriguing mystery. I was always trying to guess who the wolf was. They really made it look like it could’ve been anyone. It was pretty wild. I gave the movie an A grade. “Red Riding Hood” movie is in theaters now. Get your “Red Riding Hood” movie tickets by Clicking Here.
