New ‘Girl With The Dragon Tattoo’ Movie Delivered Intense Drama,Action & More
New ‘Girl With The Dragon Tattoo’ movie delivered intense drama, action & more. Columbia Pictures released their new drama/thriller flick “The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out,and I thought it was pretty good after it got off to a slow start. I must admit, I found myself dozing off at first, but man, did it really come alive after about the first 30-35 minutes into it.
That Lisbeth character really rocked. The movie stars: Daniel Craig, Rooney Mara, Christopher Plummer, Stellan Skarsgård, Steven Berkoff, Robin Wright, Yorick van Wageningen, and Joely Richardson.
In the flick, publisher Mikael Blomkvist (Daniel Craig) is hired by Henrik Vanger to wite the Vanger family history after being imprisoned for three months over a lost libel case, involving allegations about billionaire industrialist Hans-Erik Wennerström.
Mikael also has to pay a hefty fine. However, he’s promised considerable financial reward and solid evidence against Wennerström for writing the Vanger family history because Henrik believes his great niece Harriet was murdered by a member of the family 36 years ago. Shortly after Mikael moves into the Vanger estate to begin his research into the history of the Vanger family and Harriet’s disappearance, he finds Lisbeth Salander, who is a surveillance agent with Milton Security. Apparently,he realized she hacked into his computer earlier, during the libel case.
He eventually gets Lisbeth to help him find out who may have killed Harriet by describing him as a killer of women to spark her interest. Oh, and he also was really a killer of women too,so that helped. After much investigation, they realize Harriet’s brother Martin Vanger was the one who was murdering all the women, but that he also never killed Harriet, because she somehow got away.
Mikael also gets really close with Lisbeth, and develops a sexual relationship with her. At one point, Lisbeth saves Mikael’s life after Martin attacks him. Then she assisted Martin into getting in a car wreck,so the bastard could die. It was pretty intense.
After all that drama, Mikael finds Harriet and reunites her with Henrik Vanger. However, Mikael gets really pissed when he finds out the evidence against Wennerström that Vanger promised him is useless. Fortunately, Lisbeth hacked Wennerström’s computer and, found crimes that went far beyond what Mikael documented.
She eventually uses the evidence to steal more than a quarter of a billion dollars from Wennerström’s secret bank account. Unfortunately, it concluded with sort of an unhappy ending for Lisbeth, just when she finally was able to fully trust someone.
Again, I enjoyed watching most of the movie after a bit of a slow start. There’s a scene where Lisbeth tortures the hell out of a guy that raped her. There’s also some very good action scenes that involve her fighting, doing a high speed motorcycle chases, hooking up with a chick, and more. It was quite interesting.
Rooney Mara did a great job, playing Lisbeth. She also looks very good, nude. Oh,yeah, there’s plenty of Rooney Mara nudity too. I gave the movie a solid B grade. Follow us on Facebook by Clicking Here. Follow us on Twitter by Clicking Here.
