New ‘Premium Rush’ Movie Delivered Great Bike Riding Action,Drama & More

New ‘Premium Rush’ movie delivered great bike riding action, drama & more. Columbia Pictures (Sony) released their new action flick “Premium Rush” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out,and thought it was very entertaining as it delivered a lot of cool bike riding action,,coupled with a descent plot. The movie stars: Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Michael Shannon, Dania Ramirez, and Jamie Chung.

In the new flick, character Wilee (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is one of the best security bike-riding messengers in the business in New York City. However, his skills get pushed to limits he totally never asked for when he takes on an assignment that turns out to be one of his biggest nightmares.

He accepts a delivery job that involved delivering a ticket over to China Town, but little did he know, that ticket is worth a lot of money and is very valuable to a dirty cop named Bobby Monday. Bobby turns Wilee’s simple delivery job into a freaking nightmare as he chases him down throughout the city, looking to get his hands on that ticket.

Totally dedicated to his job, Wilee refuses to give over the ticket until it is in the hands of the right person. At one point, Wilee decides to give the ticket back to the office where he originally got it from, not knowing how important it was. Unfortunately,it lands in the wrong hands before Wilee finds out the ticket was really for a young Asian lady who was trying to use it to import her son into the United States.

This new knowledge set up a huge conclusion that involved Wilee and a couple of other members from his messenger team, using all their resources to track down the ticket, get it out of the wrong hands, and make the original delivery at a certain time before it’s too late.

It was very fun to watch as it delivered a lot of action that included major bike and car chases throughout the city, amazing bike stunts, and wicked fast-paced scenes. Joseph Gordon-Levitt did a great job as usual, and that Dania Ramirez actress provided some major eye candy as Wilee’s bike-riding girlfriend Vanessa. I gave the movie a good B+ grade.
